I've said here in the recent past, and I'll say it again, if it comes to an armed conflict between Russia and NATO, Russia will come out a very diminished entity without Vladimir Putin at the helm. If he goes nuclear, Russia will be history and the rest of us will feel the pain.

They don't have the strongest, they have the highest number of combat active troops at the moment, not top 10 strongest in Europe.

They barely were trained with NATO up to 6 months, others nations has been in NATO and training with the weapon for years. They have NATO weapons not the experience or expertise.

The separatist were backed by Russia, Russia don't even deny anymore, most of the separatists involved were also Russian veterans, and where did you think they got weapons from?? They had heavy equipments too. Ukraine wasn't prepared to battle Russia, not the Donbas separatists at that point.
