I have returned to thank God and the gurus in the house who willfully and cheerfully help us on this journey. It has been an emotionally draining and challenging process but it ended in praise.

I collected my passports today for a family of 4.

Below is my timeline:
1. Application to Robert Gordon University: 14th October 2022.
2. Unconditional offer letter: 4th May 2023
3. Statement of purpose rewritten with affidavit of error of my date of birth on my WAEC - 25th May 2023.
4. 1st Proof of funds bank statement matured on the 19th of June 2023 but the naira was floated two days before and made me need 9million more.
5. Started counting towards another 28th days with funds equivalent. 2nd POF Matured 17th July 2023.
6. CAS and unconditional offer email dropped on 21st July 2023.
6. Visa and IHS payment on 22nd and 23rd July 2023.
7. Biometrics + Flexi + Priority at TLS Abuja on 25th July 2023.
8. Documents transferred and received at DMC on 26th July 2023.
9. Collection email and text message today 28th July 2023.

Documents submitted:
Main Applicant (MA) - POF Funds were in MA account since we began this journey for CAS.
1. CAS
2. Int'l passport
3. HND Cert
4. Transcripts
5. Power of Attorney of Residential property - I said I owned where I stay in my application form, hence I decided to prove it.
5. Family history and current photographs - 30 pics in total.
6. Signed Part 1 consent form by MA.
7. Booking.com reservation - because I was coming with my family, I didn't want to just put only school address of where I will be staying.
8. NIN slip - The address here did not match with that of my husband or children.
9. Affidavit declaration of incorrect date of birth on my WAEC.
10. Affidavit declaration of change of name on my international passport by marriage to my husband on so so date.
11. POF bank statement - Fidelity Bank.
12. IELTS Result - I had it so kukuma make I put am let them know I sabi their English..lol
13. My polytechnic institution reference letter.
14. NYSC

16. Employment reference letter.

I graduated in 2018, had my nysc done in 2019 and been working since then.

5. Marriage certificate - the old one by AMAC Abuja in 2018.
6. Evidence of travel history to 3 countries - stamped pages on passport.
7. Family photographs - the same uploaded by MA.

I stated then I was self employed with my company. But now I have declared as an employee on contract with the same company and my payment is made in cash. My husband is my employer and sponsor. Is this okay? Aside from SOA, employment contract, reference letter, employment letter, what document should I provide to back myself up? Pls i need to get this right.

ii. Please as a 2019 graduate for BSc qualification, what are the documents needed to apply for visa. I noticed some people do include work reference and nin. From the webinar i had with the institution all these were not mentioned.

There's no problem using 2 accounts. Infact merger the 2 statements and upload same copy for each applicant.

Please ensure you observed the 28days rule.

Thank youu! Funny enough yesterday I commented here about how I’m stressed cause of what people have been saying about first bank not knowing my visa was already out. I submitted an Investment certificate with a reference from the bank stating the lowest amount of the investment within the last 28days and that the funds are available for immediate use if needed.

Please is 30m enough for proof of funds and another question, if I transfer the 30m for example on 31 august to an account and start counting my from 1 September with an opening balance of 30m is it bad

How much is your sch fees ? How much deposit have you made?.add the balance to your living expenses , add some extra to accomodate the fluctuations in exchange rate .

If the 30M can cover the above then it's not fone for it to be your opening balance

Oh that’s amazing.
Honestly I’ve been restless. But I’m optimistic I’ll get a positive outcome. Although I only submitted my bank statement. I didn’t submit the bank reference I got alongside it because it’s indicated on the reference the dollar account is just 3months old, and they wouldn’t draft a reference without stating that.

Photos and messages are minor evidence

Submit your joint bank statement, evidence of bills paid together, rent agreement and any letters you both have received from the Government with same name and address

Hospital or dental records/letters can be used too

A company that you claimed to be yours a few years ago, you are claiming that you are now an employee of the same company. Remember that you are going to declare the previous visa refusal and they will see it that you once claimed that the company belongs to you. Well unless you want to back it up with a convincing explanation.

1.People have struggled with paying using their naira master card, it might be worth speaking to your bank and getting a dollar version perhaps

2. You have 4 years study gap, the request for study gap evidence is when it is more than 5years.

Keep your application simple, provide what is stated in your CAS and the additional Tb test and bank statements

1) while filling my form, I was asked if I have any visa refusal for uk or any other country, I answered Yes( AMERICA). They only provide one column to fill the date. My concern is I have two refusals from US embassy , one 2016 and the other 2017. I am able to declare 2017 in the column provided, How do I declare the second one.

2) Travel History: I traveled to ghana by road 2016, and I have stamps of border pass on my passport. Can I declare it as one?

I’m using FirstBank too. FirstBank actually reply mails within 24hrs, I don’t think the issue is from them. I heard that few months ago one of FirstBank branches in Ibadan was dishing out fake POF to people which affected the whole of FirstBank’s reputation. I think anyone using POF from FirstBank should get a reference letter from them to back it up. That’s what I intend to do though I don’t know if that will help my application. If you find any better solution pls do well to post it here.

They got back to us within 3 months after we submitted the A.R that it has turned out successful, however they started the reconsideration process in June and we waiting for the outcome of that. I was told the reconsideration process is the final process of the Administrative Review.

You can either repeat each refusal, so first one is most recent 2017 and then say yes again so you include the second one

Or
Put the date for the most recent (2017) and explain both in the text column
