The thing with business in Nigeria is that if it fails, Nigeria has no safety net. You can fall into severe poverty and never ever return. Thankfully I have very wonderful parents and a strong support base at home but not everyone has this. Abroad if your business or startup fails, you can always live on government benefits and then find a new job and gradually rebuild yourself. In Nigeria it's not even easy to get back into paid employment if you didn't succeed doing business and even if you did, it's very difficult to get any sort of job In Nigeria
