I made sure I fulfilled her requests but I cried cos I felt let down and betrayed... I joined the school when the college was only jss1 and 2 and now with d help of God and my hard work and those of others, the school has developed and grown to ss3

I'm into teaching aspect and also extracurricular activities that I do teach the students and won many things for the school regarding that.

I left unceremoniously and I felt so sad and betrayed...

Yesterday the director messaged me I'll have to vacate the room I'm occupying and this house is where I'm doing laundry, I planned to be there till Dec and then move away when I start making some money from my laundry.

How can humans be so inhuman and ungrateful?

I have nothing to say to them, I put everything in God's hand.

Nigerians have too much entitlement mentality. They paid you for your services. You terminated your services and still expect the benefits to remain? What if they need the room for their new employee?

The moment you resigned, you should have moved out within the next days and find your root.


Happy birthday or not, it will not stop you from seeing next year and achieving your goals. Pack out of that room and face reality.

I didn't just decide that I want to stay in the house.
The director never wanted to renew the house rent in January because he said he doesn't want to have anything to do with the landlady due to the issue they had. But I told him that's where I want, he renewed the rent cos of me and that was the reason I told him to remove the rent till Dec when d current rent will expire then I'll continue d payment myself to d landlady.

But im sure he had a change of plan cos of my exit to spite me. I'm not deterred by this cos I know I've faced more challenges in life and I'll surely overcome.

I am not having entitled mentality but in this school, I took up to 6 subjects and I can confidently say there's no subject I've never taken b4 in the school. While doing this work with so much stress, I forgot to take care of my health and it really toiled on my health that I have an issue with my heart, I've been in and out of hospital for 1 and a half years. Spending and borrowing more money to spend on my health. Do u know this woman never cared about it? That's where d bitterness started from since I couldn't perform like Jackie like I used to do before and this is due to my health.

I discussed d issue of allowing me to stay till ending of the year cos the husband has been reasonable and understanding unlike his wife, I thought he will agree out of goodwill and be considerate due to my contribution to d development of the school. He agreed but im surprised when he changed tune suddenly.

As I said in d main thread, I leave them to God.

Before he took that decision he must have established a close relationship with them apart from work, he was with them when the school was still small nd he helped built it so he was hoping at least they will be nice enough to allow him stay even if it's not permanent and do his business.
The problem here is dy wife,she was bitter that he is leaving and she succeeded in spoling her husband's mind.

You are steupiddd and not humane, that is not how a proper human being should behave. love, respect and compromise is part of life, if you work for someone for 4 years, you deserve better as you are part of the growth of that entity. You have a dark mind and only God can safe you from rotten away.

Mr. Man, you should have prepared for every unforeseen circumstance before handing in your resignation letter. You're lucky they didnt hold back your salary. This experience should make you wiser.

If you had brought this post in here before now, I'd have implore you work till December then resign (that way you'd have saved up to rent a space for your laundry business).

Don't always attach emotions to factual things. Nobody really care about your emotions. You need to work on that aspect.

If you had brought this post in here before now, I'd have implore you work till December then resign (that way you'd have saved up to rent a space for your laundry business).

Emotional made you depend on your former employer's grant without a backup plan.

I still think you're in the wrong here. The proprietorship pays the rentage, not the husband. You should have known Better.
