I see CNG with inflating Prices very soon I trust Nigerians they will soon hijack this too they will come with excuses Increase demand leads to the increase in price Let's hope at the end of the day Fuel will not be 650 per liter, And CNG 985 per KG |

In my opinion, a chunk of the funds budgeted for palliative should go to establishing and sustaining CNG market as an alternative to PMS. Hypothetically speaking: The government may consider strategic intervention: dealers should be encouraged to import CNG-complaint vehicles for 60 per state = 2160 mass transit buses at 5 million each....that's about 10billion 800 million naira. Once the cost of logistics for persons, goods and agric products reduces...the effect of inflation will b minimized. Privately-owned vehicles may do their CNG-conversion privately. Facilitating and encouraging a massive importation of CNG-dispensing facilities to all PMS dispensing stations should be on top gear. |

Federal government should pursue LPG/CNG palliatives. That's better for the Nigerian public than the nonsense 20k palliative. I don't even know who suggested that type of foolish and ill-percieved palliative. However why do we need 90k to convert petrol generator to gas? My neighbor spent only 25k to convert his petrol generator to gas. Nobody should use this CNG LPG project to exploit Nigerians o. |

adebayo987: CNG is not as flammable as Petrol and LPG (coking gas). CNG is safe for use in automobiles. The major challenge now is that we are not seeing infrastructure development for distribution of CNG. When people convert where would the get the CNG. If they can't find CNG, people might start to take risk with LPG |

Any body that can afford to buy a car and a generator should be able to convert them themselves. If FG is to invest on CNG conversion, it should be on a state owned or newly funded mass transit, to help booster revenue. crossfm: |
