Felicity001:first of all your Education is waste because you couldn't tag me properly and I'm going to address all issues here....you wan hear word and you go hear ma today....... Chronicle of how I got my first car.... Before I venture into this line of business I'm into importing basically from China and I'm into exchange of yuan to Naira since 2017 but I'm the kind of person that I don't love sitting down for long because I have a sales girl that does all the shipping of my imported products. I came across this group even though I have been a long time member of NL, I followed judiciously took my time, study and I decide to get a car and join the hustle to have multiple source of income. The car omopena is driving today I approach the owner then thinking it will be a good deal but my pastor and wife talked me out of it. I got my fund and I decide to get my own car.. I reached out to the people we look up to in this group for guidance and help and they decide to help but None of them told me they are going to collect any fee for their Service and the service includes getting a car for you and help you check the car but you still needs to pay a mechanic for final approval. I reached out to Felicity and peal for a car and none told me that I will pay for the sourcing of the car even the day me and pearl got the car and he told me the sourcing fee I wan faint I sha talk to him and he gave me grace and I paid him is money.... Felicity send numbers of cars to me which was more than my budget or the car was sold, we didn't check any cars together except when he met me and pearl at abule egba and we move away.... So you bragging of helping me to get a car or helping me to start a business is trash..... When we have issues we come here to seek help and I know how many people I have contacted for advise and how many people I have rendered help to..... Thank God For Pearl, pope and cheerful especially peal because he was the one encouraging me when I was about to give up but I pulled through, then pope will encourage me and give me tips to work from mainland to island.... Felicity you have the guts to call my Precious Honda civic dead... How can a dead car travel Lagos to Oshogbo countless times or how can I managed to have fulfilled over more than 1000 trips if it's dead car... yesterday I still use my car to work today I'm resting at home ,tomorrow I will work just as my wife thinks I'm an EXECUTIVE UBer because of the way i work..... Lastly I know you are frustrated with the MB you got but I want to thank you for advising me not go for the MB but I will want you to take my own advise, sell the MB and get Honda civic or Kia get back on the road humble yourself and add it to your car outsourcing business and make money so that you can start paying rent and allow MAMA BREATH because I really wish the best for you and your family also the dead car will still get junior brother and I still have your wife account you sent to me I will forward the amount I wish to give you then but I'm not doing it to spite you but to clear my conscience....one love hoodlum driver felicity. 12 Likes |

konkoabove: This is the main reason people fall to scammers You'll never get any honest answer but will want you to perform magic. Imagine a client calling me since last week to help her get a Toyota spider foreign used with a total budget of 6m max. And this same lady wants a car with a clean title records. This is a car currently sold for 7m+... Auntie I'm sorry I don't have money and even if I've I'm.not your bf, go and work on your budget... That was my reply to her 1 Like |

ReadaDream:You have a point Irrespective we still have good registered car far better of than foreign vehicles. Purchasing a new vehicle all boils down to your budget. You get what you budgeted or have money to purchase. Some car problems are hidden and unique for a particular "omo-ese" to fix whereas his oga can't or hasn't been able to fix in several triers. If the owner doesn't meet that divine technician he will continue to suffer while the car frustrates the living hell out of him that outsiders will start wondering he doesn't maintain his car, not so true... He's tired and frustrated so any slight opportunity he has to pay it off he won't think twice and then starts a new life with a new car, either bigger or smaller. So he cares less what the new owner faces, his concern is let me just free myself from this trouble. This is why some people or most don't sell their cars to anyone close to them unless the car is in a perfect working condition best known to them. Another thing is, how many people can afford a brand new car Let a line a foreign used... The economy is also a factor to why people opt for a used vehicle. How many foreign used vehicles are trouble free? Most come with salvaged history, mechanical issues, flood and electrical issues and so many others issues. I've sold a registered Toyota Corolla 2006 model for 3.5m, registered oh not tokunbo. I know what I saw b4 advising the customer to go ahead with payment. It's been 8 months and still counting this customer has not called to make a single complain other than "ah! Bros thank you ooh, thank you". This was a client that wanted to buy a tokunbo for 3.4m, an accidentally packaged vehicle which he will still have some repairs to do, buy foot mart, fire extinguisher, c-caution, jack and wheel spinner and tires. All of these would have costed him additional 200-300k. And even do plate No. But the registered car he bought, owner was relocating so he doesn't need his plate number (75k saved), money for foot mart (25k), jack and others, servicing all these saved. The guy still dashed me extra 20k for job well done. So my brother dint have that notion that foreign used vehicles are the best. Currently on a deal for an LX570 2018 registered, do you know the actual mileage of the car? 2780km, car was bought brand new. In march this year I sold the Canadian Ambassador's 2020 Toyota Camry with just 2300km on its ODO... Which foreign car can compete with all these vehicles? Non! The only issue is finding one |

Gentlelife50: Bro non is better either ways. They're both used cars, simple! I have also sold a 2007 Corolla sport to a client who came from the norther part to Lagos, these Hausa guys sabi car na we dey think say them be mumu Hausa sabi pass we southerners. They bought 2 units, on their way back to the north the sport 07 knock engine for sagamu. The dealer had to replaced the engine with a tokunbo one the next day. Even brand new vehicles are not left out. A car was bought from a well reputable company here in Lagos, 10 units... On their way to PH to deliver the vehicle on among them knock engine after a flash of the oil sensor light... They had to replace the car with apology and other expenses. We have to understand these things are machines and chances of failure are factored in during manufacturing. The main thing is your budget. You wey buy a 2006 Corolla registered for 3m now can never be the same with one that bought for 1.4m, never!! |
