16-years-old and handed a starting role in Italy’s midfield after making her national team debut two weeks before the World Cup began.

Things that can never happen in men's football. At sixteen, he's still an academy player. women's football is weird.

Bellingham? Wilshere? Pedri? Gavi?

They were either in the first team or in the national team at 16/17

Just watched Spain vs Japan highlights, I fear that Japanese team, ruthlessly clinical.

So true. Japan scored their first goal with just three passes.

Exactly how many of us wish the super falcons were... Nobody cared that Spain had all the ball possession in that game..

The super falcons need to be more ruthless during counter attacks...release the ball quicker and commit more women forward during counters...we have fast players...it isn't every time we should be sitting back...

Our ball movement is too slow , d South African team is far better in dis regard , we can actually cause more damage to so many teams if we can move d ball faster and have more bodies in the opposition box 18

All the pictures of the team so far, looks like Echegini na lone ranger o. Isolating or na just her way ni?

Then the Foreign crew seem to be caught smiling and laughing more together than with others😆

Will we ever see a Gift-Oshoala padiship again?
Onyi Echegini is more of a behind the Camera person, she belongs to the foreign born crew and do makes TikTok videos with the likes of Alozie, T Payne..

Anyway I see she’s wanting game time😂

Head to head - #NGA  v #ENG

1995; #FIFAWWC  #ENG  3-2 #NGA  - Adaku Okoroafor & Rita Nwadike goals not enough.

2002; Fr #ENG  0-1 #NGA  - Flo Omagbemi lone strike in Norwich.

2004, Fr #ENG  0-3 - Rita Nwadike’s goal & a brace from Perpetua Nkwocha as Falcons soar in Reading.

2023🤔

Watch how Australia defeated England 3 months ago. My hope is that England will continue with their 3-man highline defence. Randy should just play fast forward players and they are in trouble.

Also notice when Lauren James was a threat? When they allowed her too much space as in all cases.

Exactly.. Like against Australia, after we got the equalizer, we attacked them faster and committed more player forward, that helped us score two more..... Its good to sit deep when playing a superior opponent, but sitting too deep will make you lose goalscoring chances from counter attacks...

We need to put pressure on that England defense .. aside the high line, they seem prone to errors...

Anyone who watched them play Denmark and Haiti knows this. They just were unfortunate that they didn't take their chances. Both Haiti and Denmark should have won their games.

My hope is that we defend but don't sit back. The first 15 minutes will be key. If we soak the pressure we'll grow well I to the game.

Who will she bench? Onumonu or Oshoala? Or will she take Oparanozie's role as 3rd striker?

Well, it's good to have options....

Go watch her highlights. It will answer your question. She's as talk as Onumonu but a better finisher.

BTW, we really should stop mentioning Oparanozie in the scheme of things. She's not the player she used to be. The most goals she's scored in one season the last 6 season is 6. She's not just the same player.

It's why I stopped arguing the matter. Is it the same Lauren James that was rendered useless during the Chelsea Vs Barcelona 2 legged game? Her coach in Chelsea didn't even consider her good enough to start in both games.

People watched her for one game against an inept China team and they are making it look like she's the best thing since pounded yam.

No doubt she's a good player, bur we won't have sleepless night over her.
If our players have this attitude she will have a big game. We have to acknowledge that there is a challenge and step up to it.

Onyi usually move with the Americans.

As for your last question, you mean on field right? Because there is nowhere you will see Gift and won't find Oshoala. They are like mother and daughter o
