Russia isn’t interested in fighting wars on two fronts and even if ECOWAS invades Niger, Putin still isn’t sending the Russian military—he’s made that clear. The same monikers that swore China would join Russia in the Ukrainian war even after being told that China’s only internet is money are swearing that Russia will begin a second war over Niger, a poor country. Yes Niger has uranium but Russia won’t have to go to war in order to get it—after a short time under military rule, things will get so bad that Niger will be willing to give Russia all the uranium they want in exchange for grain.

One thing is for sure, Russia wont anger Nigeria to please Niger. Conflict in Niger would lead to lower Uranium prices (Because the Junta would seel through the back door to fund its Military) which wont Favour Russia. If ECOWAS gets Overwhelmed support from the West and considering that Russia just only signed Military pacts with 40 African countries somes weeks back, the war in Niger should not take that long - in theory

Uranium is not a resource like crude oil, timber or cash crops that you need for daily consumption. Uranium is for nuclear reactors and you dont need to refuel that often, thats why Niger is very poor.

That said, there is no knowing what the Military Juntas of the likes of Mali, Burkina Faso and other countries that have now returned to military rule would do. They likely will back their fellow comrade more so that they all speak French. If the war in Niger is mismanaged and it goes south it might result in the disintegration of Nigeria itself.

That’s right. Niger is a poor, landlocked country that isn’t of major strategic value to Russia. The guy I’m quoting is also right about uranium not being a resource that is considered vital for daily consumption, there’s no hurry to get it plus, the Juntas will soon sell cheaply it for their own interests.

This simply a game of diplomatic politics. The Russia has to be seen to oppose the coup but in reality they support it tactly....attack Nigeria and see the Russians stylishly support them through 3rd party systems.
Wagner and other unknown organizations backed by Russian will come to play powerfully in Nigeria...infact Russia will supply them weapons through 3rd party as they have have opposed the military intervention.

Watch and see the the Nigerien military junta realign their cooperation with Russia in the coming days as other juntas have done and Russia will support them just to checkmate the West and NATO.

West African governments, including Nigeria has alot to lose if they go at logger head with the Russian federation.
