It’s becoming very frustrating to scroll through nairaland these days, tribalism and terrible insults everywhere, if it’s not a heated exchange of insults between Igbos and Yorubas then it would be arguments and confrontations between Feminists and redpillers, if it’s not any of those ones then it would be Muslims vs Christians vs Atheists😫🤌
I can’t even go through the food section without seeing tribalistic comments, I’ve abandoned Politics section because of the toxic things I read there everyday, nairaland gave me the impression that tribalism to an extent is deadlier than racism, the owner of the forum and its numerous mods aren’t even doing enough to curb this rubbish, I’ve been on nairaland since 2009, and I must say, this isn’t the forum I grew to love, knowledge and entertainment has gradually changed to a toxic space of tribal bigots, it’s very sad tbh
Some of those unfortunate tribalistic elements will now come out and shout “if nairaland tire you, commot body” 😪🤌

If Nairaland Tire don tire you, like you rightly said Comot body before you Collect!! Nairaland Na Vawulence Nation, you join body or misyarn anyhow you collect wotoporiously😜😋

One thing I noticed is that, it is now ipob turned Obi supporters that are complaining about tribalism and insults.

Wasn't there tribalism when Hausa/Fulani are the the backward urine drinkers?
wasn't there tribalism when Yoruba was the Ewedu ass lickers and Ijaws are the dirty Creek dwellers?

Na now the tribalism reach ona side?

However,on twitter,you are having conversation with real people who have reputation to protect.
I will likely not use my real name to insult a tribe or encourage people to attack a particular tribe.
This is what twitter is.
But I can create a moniker here on nairaland,hide behind such moniker and go all ballistic on a tribe and noone will know.
Basically,on twitter,you have conversations with real people with real identity.

i have been attacked several times by nairaland tribal bigots just because of my name. igbos have succeed in ruining this beautiful forum. its boring
