Gerrard59: I very much doubt Mexicans have unfettered access to the US labor market. If they did, 20 million Mexicans would emigrate overnight. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Hmm, well maybe. I've gotten a lot of rejections for jobs I actually qualified for but because of location I wasn't hired. One even told me specifically that assuming I'm in the EU, they can still hire me, but not outside Europe. People still get well paying remote jobs from here though. Oyetboy: |

erico2k2: Thank you for your answer. This sounds more factual. If the country truly had unfettered access, it would lead to a loss of Chileans to the US, despite their high standard of living. New Zealand and Australia have such an agreement. Even though New Zealand is a rich advanced nation, they lose 27,000 of their citizens each year to Australia because of this policy. Considering New Zealand has about 4m people, this is a staggering amount. 1 Like 1 Share |

Longinyamapucci: Don't talk about things you know nothing about. Chile produces about a third of the world's copper. It is also a big producer and exporter of many agricultural products. It is richer than Nicaragua The problem isn't that Chile isn't prosperous. The problem here are those who tear down their race and country. 3 Likes |

He said is Nigeria safer than Brazil where you have Boko Haram and Killer Herdsmen? I said the devil is in the details. I replied that th devil is in the details. 2 Likes |

erico2k2: All this visas exists for chileans. There's no special one for UK passport holders. The h1b visa itself is a lottery based visa where there's 85000 visas against 780k applicants. The L1 is a transfer visa which you can use if you work for a US company in another country. Your options are to struggle against other one million applicants for H1B or use an L1 visa as a UK citizen. It's right there in what you posted 2 Likes 1 Share |

tensazangetsu20:Your response shows you don't read what is being posted but chose to just listen to yourself, You specifically stated that only few countries has access to the US Job market but I just told you, I went to the US to carry out work(Installations and maintenance), my team where consist of Engineers from japan, Germany and the UK.if you live in Nicaragua you cant be an expert on what is going on in the USA when you don't live there or had an dealings that involved such Visas.xcept you have found yourself in such situations. The VWP countries are 38 so far not 4 as you seem to claim. Hats wrong assumption on your part PS you use the word Struggle as a UK citizen, A Uk citizen does not struggle to go anywhere in the world well mayB the MOON.A[[lying for a Visa is formality, xcept you are trying to say such person wont come back to the UK if not what reason have intending countries got to deny a UK citizen Visa? 2 Likes |

erico2k2: Men whatever suits you. Back to why I created this thread . FYI being part of the US visa waiver and working in the US aren't the same thing. Mexico isn't part of the US visa waiver program but Mexicans can work on a TN visa. Anyway, this is the last time I am going to talk about this. Goodbye 7 Likes |

Getting a student visa to chile. The first step is to look for admission. This one is particularly up to you. Some schools require legalization of documents before you can apply for admission. Take note. If the school requires legalization of documents, it would mean that you would need to legalize twice. First, your school documents before applying for admission, and the second time, your police report. You need your legalised police report to apply for the visa. Legalization process Start building up your proof of funds while you start this. You need to take your documents first to the ministry of foreign affairs in Abuja then to the Nigerian embassy in Ghana and then to the ministry of foreign affairs in Ghana before taking it to the chilean embassy in Ghana. The embassy charges around 14 usd per document. Once you are done with legalisation of documents you need to apply for your visa. In chile, the visa comes from the government itself. Any agent promising you a chilean visa is a thief. Everything comes from chile. Applying for visa. Head on to https://tramites.extranjeria.gob.cl/ and then click on Solicitud de Residencias Temporales para extranjeros fuera de Chile. Follow the instructions and upload all required documents. You will be asked for two important documents which you will have to get from your school. Your matricula certificate and your regular student certificate. You also need to print out your bank statements and attach them. Once you have submitted the application you have to pay around 225 USD online and wait for a response. If its successful, you will receive an electronic stamp in a month. Once you receive your stamp, you have 90 days to enter chile and once in Chile you have 30 days to get your RUT number. 21 Likes 15 Shares |

Lordally1: Your name looks familiar like you're a programmer, wouldn't it be better to use your msc time for internships instead, so you can get a good IT job straight out of school assuming they retain you in one of those internships, instead of just working for money. |
