When it comes to this Erica's DQ, I've seen most people make the mistake of blaming her outburst solely on that Nengi and Kidd flirting on the dance floor shenanigan that night. While that was also a trigger for Erica, it wasn't the main issue. That deed was just the stroke that broke the camel's back.

The main frustration that led to Erica's outburst was Ebuka's coded revelation about what Laycon said about her to other HMs. When that eviction night ended and Erica approached Laycon for clarity and got none, Erica grew hatred for him. If you'd recall on the Monday the next day during her DS, she told Biggie that after Laycon refused to clarify what he had said about her to her, that he's now canceled to her. She went ahead to later nominate Laycon for the first time that season that same night (correct me if wrong).


That week, Erica also felt isolated and talked to Tolanibaj about it, even confirming that she had only Tolanibaj and Kidd as the people in her corner. Seeing Laycon distance himself from her while now being with Vee whom she disliked and felt was the reason her friendship with Laycon took a turn for the worse, made her boil within.


She was just harboring a lot of pent-up anger, bitterness and frustration on the house generally, so when the Nengi-Kidd flirting happened in the club, it triggered her and then she proceeded to attack her main target for the frustration which is Laycon. At that point, she was done with the whole house. It is why she even was mad at Prince and just about anyone.

No be that night be the first time Kidd and Nengi dey flirt, so why did she go crazy? It because of the build-ups of various frustration in that week and week leading to that week, that made her erupt. She needed an avenue to vent and Kidd and Nengi's flirting gave her one.


She was deservedly evicted sha and have herself alone to blame.

Finally! Someone was watching it all. I wasnt a fan of Erica,but I wont lie. People did her dirty in the way they interpreted everything.

I watched dt season.
When laycon came into that house,people didnt rate him. Both housemates and viewers.

Erica was the viewers sweetheart.
Then she became friends with laycon. They even did a fake proposal/ engagement. That was the beginning of a sweet friendship.

Until laycon wanted more.. and he was advised to pursue it. Which he did.
Erica calmly turned him down. I can remember that conversation vividly.

Everything was still ok. They remained friends

Ebuka asked laycon about telling someone Erica tried kissing him 3times.

Erica was furious. And went off! So upset. Started shouting and asking him when did she do that?

Unfortunately both laycon and erica didn't understand themselves.

Erica admitted she tried kissing him once or so when she was drunk.
But laycon said it was 3times according to Ebuka.

Laycon refused to speak to erica about it. Ghosted her. This pissed erica off even more. She now went crazy.

What both erica and laycon didnt know was that it was just "choice of words" and misinterpretation that they had.

Erica thought laycon saying she kissed him thrice was lieing;that laycon 'meant' on 3 different occasions.
Not knowing Ebuka meant 3 times the same night.

Laycon on the other hand didnt bother clarifying what he told the person.

It was such a pity Erica left.
I m glad they are friends now.

Erica didn't even deserve to get a strike not to talk of disqualification. Giving her strike for an incident that happened the previous week, give her strike for staying up late (when there's no wall clock or wristwatch in the house) and for calling laycon a chickenbone (when she would have called him a lizardbone.
Don't even want to remember the injustices against season that season
