Make this man speak for himself ó because human being has been the most difficult animal to control. As he's speaking many of his priests are already scoffing at him.

The Catholic bishop of Abakaliki diocese has said that none of his priest will work for the government.

Many of Ebonyi Politicians have be messing with the priest because of money. Priests have become nothing for them.

If you will not allow your priest to work for government, who do you want to work for government and receive the mess , and later bring the money to church ?

Catholic priests barely have needs.
Na school fees him de find abì he wan build duplex?

I believe this is what people don't know about Catholic priests... Any priest running after money is just unnecessarily greedy

Even those sent to hinterlands always have ALL their needs catered for, maybe except sexual needs... Atimes I envy them for that, but atimes I don't envy them cos of the sacrifices they've made and are still making

A dream priest will be one that is a priest with all the paraphernalia and benefits of priesthood and still somehow find a way to satisfy his sexual urges

envy? Do you know the Billions a Bishop controls? How is he jealous of a priest that collects paltry millions for ashawo politician?

You are very very ignorant

It's actually state politics that the bishop is playing.
The bishop never supported Gov. FON, and you could recall that during his swearing in, the governor did not invite the bishop, rather he invited the bishop emeritus.
Also, the governor, a week in his office, sacked the Fr. Nwali, who was then doubled as CAN president, Ebonyi State chapter and South East zone.
After that, the bishop and Fr. Nwali wrote against Gov. Nwifuru.
But all I can see is that they are playing all this because the bishop and Fr. Nwali are from the same clan while the governor is from another clan.
But let's watch and see how the next four years will unfold in Ebonyi State politics.

Ok. Can u control them all? Your priests are money lovers and must fraternize with politicians
You think Catholic church is just another organisation. In some diocese, the bishop determines the kind of hair cut u have or even the kind of car u drive. Fr Alia is on his own

There's nothing like "Ex priest" Sir. He is still a priest but relieved of his priestly duties because he won't be having time to perform them again, it is the normal procedure of the church. When he is done with his tenure he can still go back, he'd be sent for cleansing and he will continue with his priestly duties.

Hyacinth Alia, a suspended priest in the Catholic diocese of Gboko, Benue, says he joined the state’s gubernatorial race to effect change.

Alia, a governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was suspended by the church after his declaration.

The priest has since submitted his gubernatorial expression of interest and nomination form to the APC.

In a post on his Facebook page, the priest said: “From the day I took the decision to answer the overwhelming calls of my people to contest the governorship of Benue with the aim to rescue our people from the shackles of maladministration, I was fully aware of the sacrifice I was going to make.

It is what it is my brother. The many popes the Catholic church has had in Italy for many centuries have always put their hands in European politics, so much so that the Pope is usually the figure head ahead of all the royals of Europe with all of them almost always answerable to him. Times have changed though but I can say I don't know what the hell this Archbishop is smoking.

see talk. so you want to compare the Pope with royals/monarchs now?
do you know that the pope is the president of Vatican City and it's outside government control?
try and Google about the power of the Pope.
There's a reason he's treated in high respect whenever he goes on a state visit.

I'm sure they don't know that the priest is even suspended.
If they want to work with the governor, they can as well resigned their priesthood.

Is the governor still a Rev. father?
was he not suspended when he bought the form to contest as governor?
Have you seen a governor who is still acting as a priest and a governor at the same time?

Happy Sunday to you sir. I saw how you have been helping alot of people here. This is commendable and it takes a person with a good heart to do this. May God reward you for this, I pray that you will never do it in vain IJN!
Please sir I come to you for help too and I pray you won't ignore me. Please look into my own request too. I'm a student and a farmer too grin I rent land from the gbagyi people here where I live and do cultivate yam, eguisi and soyabean. I'm not a lazy guy and this is what I have been using to foot my school bills because my parents are old and insolvent, infact my family do feed from the proceed too. But last year I don't understand what happened, the harvest was very low that it couldn't pay for all what I needed to pay for in school. I had to sell all the proceeds to the extent that I couldn't save what I termed the seeds for the coming raining season. I managed to pay my school fees, but paying house rent, feeding and other petty expenses was so difficult. I can say it was with only God's help that I survive the session.
The problem now is that we're in another raining season, and people have started planting since last month. I don't have the fund to pay for the rent this year and I have to buy the 'seeds' this year too. Friends have been asking me why I'm yet to cultivate but I'm too ashamed to tell them my situation because no one will even help if I do. For me and my family not to suffer this year and the next, I have to do something but I'm helpless.
With a humble heart I'm soliciting for your help sir. If I can pay for the land rent and be able to buy a mudu of soyabean and eguisi is enough, I can leave yam till next year when things falls into place. They won't give me their land unless I pay first. What I pay for rent is 20k, buying of the 'seeds' won't cost more than 2k. After planting, I believe God will find a way for me in getting fertilizer. Please because of Christ help me too in this aspect. I promise to always give you feedbacks. May God continue to bless you and have a blessed new week!!!

I don't know if your story is real or you Just fake it....I have alot of persons who asked first but anyway drop your acct no.....let me see if I can send something....pls manage n seek for help from others too.
Thanks
