Yes, and ot works. If at all you don't want to change immediately, after one year of study in that school, you can also go to another college and study for additional one year. Making it 2years. This can make yoi eligible for 3years PGWP.

I don't think they will consider the 1 year spent in can college. He would get a 1 year pgwp as only the second school offering programs eligible for pgwp will be taken into consideration.

Congratulations, you should have been preparing your POF before now, so that you can submit your application early. Anyway, start now and submit your application latest Sept ending.

You can use Africhange.
Cheaper than flywire.

Yes. To save time and possibly some cost. But he must definitely enroll at can college as a student before he can change dli

Good morning everyone,

For a two-year course, do I need to sure the tuition for the 2 years or just 1 year is fine + 1 year living expenses?
.

Someone here did something like this last year, showed POF of 15M with no initial tuition payment. But he did wonders in his SOP. So just show them you have stream (s) of income running here in Nigeria, that getting money for the coming year won't be a challenge at all.

Hi People of God! I'm new here and I've gone through some of the previous posts. I hold a degree in International History & International Studies and have been working at the National Orientation Agency, Abuja for three years. I'm interested in pursuing a postgraduate diploma in Human Resource Management or Project Management at a Canadian college. However, I've faced difficulties due to my BSc grade, which is a Third Class with a GPA of 2.16. Unfortunately, I've already been declined admission by Centennial College and Georgian College. I'm reaching out to ask if anyone could suggest any colleges in Canada that might accept candidates with a Third Class honors degree for their postgraduate diploma programs. Your responses would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Can I also include alongside this some documents I feel I should have submitted earlier or is it frowned upon.
zubizareta:

Write a letter of explanation and also attach correspondence showing the letter just arrived. In your LOE, explain how the added funding will be disbursed

[quote author=Emma549 post=124969220]Hello house,
This is somehow related and I want to share my experience with British council IELTS.
I believe this might help someone.
So I sat for IELTS GT computer based sometimes in September 2022. This was my second sitting.
I had LSRW 6 6.5 7.5 6 In my first writing and decided to improve my score by resitting.
I prepared well and I was confidence about it that I will get a more good result.
When it was past the normal 5 working days I didn't get my result, I mailed British council about my result and they responded that they have withheld it for investigation purpose.
Was told to write a statement and explanation about the exam, which I did.
Expecting a positive feedback.
I was calling their customer care line everyday to release my result but they keep saying they can't influence the investigation process.
From September till April 2023, no update.
That same april I was just thinking about what to do, so I decided to check for British Council head office contact details on Google but couldn't see to find any but saw the contact of British council Manchester so I put a call through and narrated the back and forth with British council Nigeria seizing my results.
The agent asked me to copy her in the mail trails between me and British council Nigeria so she can escalate it.
Immediately after the call I did that.
In less than 3 days
Lo and behold,
British council Nigeria called me that they want to deliver my result.

I was now even feeling fly instructing themwhen I will be available to receive my result.
The result came out far better than the previous sitting because I got 9 and 8.5 in two bands, so I guess they were doubting my ability.

The TRF carried April Date.

This just shows how we are being treated as Nigerians in our own country.

I hope this helps someone out there [/quote
Thanks for sharing this

Good day house,

Please is it possible for someone not related to me (a family friend who's based in Canada) to pay my school fees from Canada?

Will it fly with the V.O or will it be a red flag?

Or should it be only my sponsor that can make the school fees payment?

There is a possibility of you boosting your chances for admission based on your Work experience.

That being said, what's your Job Title and Job Duties at the National Orientation Agency?

A quick question please. Would appreciate contributions.

Can one submit gift deeds for a land without the main land documents?

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by OkoyeAka(m): 2:50pm On Aug 09, 2023
He used 580 to calculate, but the flywire seem to be higher than what he anticipated, and he has not made payment, looking for a cheaper way and genuine
Queenslee:

Which payment service did your friend use?
Was the rate 580? Or that's flywire rate?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 2:52pm On Aug 09, 2023
No that won't be wise, you need to add the land doc

Hello, I just want to clarify why you think so.

What if the person forgot to even add the land document and the IRCC already States that “no additional documents required” but the gift deed is stamped and certified?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by OkoyeAka(m): 3:02pm On Aug 09, 2023
Okay, have you use it to make payment or you have seen anyone who used it? Because am checking their site now it is similar to chippers, it is more of sending money to F&F. pls kindly give more details about it

I actually know someone who submitted just a deed that is notarized by a court of law with Offical bar stamp and he got the visa. I did the same because the survey documents were not available. It is actually best to submit every land document including the deed but if it's not available, you can submit just the deed of gift. This is based on my knowledge.

Godd morning everyone

Pls help a sister, i don't want to do the wrong thing.

I would like to ask a question.
my Mother gifted me a house in 2020 just before she died. She died in 2021.

I have a document of this, which is certified stamped by the court. she gifted this to me in the presence of my dad as her witness while one of my siblings, my witness.

I want to use this as one of my family ties back home for my application to Canada the land documents, it carries my mothers name.

I’m asking that I hope this wouldn’t be an issue because she’s dead and there any other documents to present?

Please help me just before I submit my visa application. Thank you everyone

Hello, the thing is most colleges will ask
You through flywire, except you contact the school to ask for other means. I also paid my deposit through flywire.

Another thing you should know is that, it's higher during the day and a little lower during the midnight/ early morning. I usually wake up in the middle of the night to check and sometimes it’d have reduced to a favourable one.
