At least he came down from his high horse to feel what the poor masses go through.

We are all mortals. People are the ones elevating fellow mortals to demigods.

If anyone had told him that he would be this humble (especially to those calling him "His Excellency") last month, he would have called the someone's bluff. Reality check.

He's now complaining about not having access to power & good foods. I show no empathy towards him because a higher percentage of Nigerien never had access to these things when he was leading them & he never cared. Let him suffer what he doled out to his people!

These coupists are naive. Holding the overthrown president is bringing pressure onto yourselves. Chase him out of the country on exile. Turn around and accuse of corruption and human right abuse. Charge him to court in absentia. Let him rant far way from Niger that he is still the president while you enjoy little breathing space.
No

He is a leverage. Foreign invaders won't strike so far the junta has him. That is the reason the coup even succeeded in the first place

See the rubbish western media (CNN) is reporting while ignoring the fact that French troops are attacking Niger guards and have freed up to 16 terrorist leaders arrested so far.

The melanin-deficient french demons with their fellow Allies won't let those who want true freedom have it without a fight.

Alkebulan will rise again!

And to the Nigerian government and their ecowas dogs doing the biddings of their slave masters, be warned.

True children of Alkebulan are waking up gradually, we shall take our place very soon and flush out puppets and parasites from our motherland!

Too bad. A Democratically elected president. Why can't they wait for the next election to vote him out if they did not like him.

U reside in a country where people pick ballot boxes like bundles of firewood and you still have mind to ask that question

the Junta are under a serious pressure, if they kill him, they won't have anything to bargain with.

Good point but foreign invaders are likely seize airports and strategic locations and infrastructure and then pressure them to give up with superior show of force.

They are using the ousted president as a bargaining chip. When they are done using him, they will put some good bullets in him.

Wagner is already in the country, some other African countries have sent troops to neutralise any aggression from the countryside.

The coupists are not finding it easy with internal and external pressures,

Western powers will like to make use of this Council of restoration of republic

group against the military juntas. The military might not have any choice than to succumb.

If not they won't enjoy respect they suppose to command as leaders at helm of affairs of a country.

Abacha era you mentioned is still far better than what we have today.Fuel was N11 then. Democracy in Africa is just on paper. African leaders keep enriching themselves while the people wallow in poverty. I saw a video where the people were lamented living like slave.
