BascoVanVeli:Her quote is a sugarcoating attempt. I don't need to be a fan or her enemy to see thru that. Thank God i was on that space too. Not up to standard?? If they had me? She should stop with that abeg. If i am tagged sensitive for seeing through such statement about a teammate, especially as we all know the origin of the matter, then i can safely say you're insensitive to want to accept that as totally normal. I'm an Arsenal fan and my club have faced similar situations and we saw how Aubameyang went about it and also how Ozil went about it. What is the absolute guarantee that all she have was going to be the biggest difference that night? Absolutely no guarantee!!! Or is football suddenly 1+1=2? I know what she's capable of, but leave that to fans to argue over. But But what?? If Zee, Ebi, Alozie, Rash, etc said what Ngozi said, it doesn't make it right or proper. I'll react same way. You don't do that to a teammate. It's crap. More like you commend her to her face then came to the space to talk down on her ability. |

Deltamani:Nonsense.. I watched some parts of the second half again.. Alozie was stepped on twice by Lauren James. the 1st time they did not review it at all at around 60 - 67mins. it was the 2nd one they reviewed around the 83 - 87mins. I think James was trying to get a reaction from Alozie so that Alozie could be sent off.. Another player also pulled her hair and was not carded or reviewed... |

AndSunGorilla:iwo logbon ju is the perfect response to that nonsense Okobi pulled. That was totally unnecessary. Simple!!! Why that is hard for some to see beats me. You want to now come and tell me that she meant no harm cos she started the statement with "commendation" The "But" that followed nko? Inference-no Matter what Toni plays, I'm way way better than her and would not get tired easily like her. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Aspa na Kante she be!! Even Kante gets tired in some games that you don't expect him to. Once again... It was totally unnecessary. |

BascoVanVeli:Praise and Insult in same sentence in such manner is no longer praise. This situation is not the 1st to be vehemently opposed and it won't be the last either. And I'm not going to change the pattern for Ngozi all of a sudden. What is unnecessary is unnecessary!! |

Deltamani:I don't think England would "have defeated Nigeria Soundly" whether James was marked or not. I mean this is a team that has so far scored 80% of their goal against a very bad and helpless Chinese side.. Nevertheless, Ayinde was superb and did a very good job. ( Not Forgetting Michelle too who didn't allow anybody playing on that wing breathe 😂😂) |

lovewins:She said that? What an unprofessional tool 🤦♂️ |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by ThePresenceWtf: 6:04pm On Aug 10, 2023 |
AndSunGorilla:Those "Accolades" are more of a backhanded compliment to Toni which seems very patronizing and condescending.... There are certain things you can't teach one in life...Class. |

Deltamani:Fifa caved!! Didn’t have the guts to do the right thing!! Not surprised!! It should have been a three-game ban. What she did was deliberate. |

Deltamani:Gotta get the "star" player to the final you know.....Watch how they'll prop up 2 of England, Australia and Spain to be at the finals. It's Good for viewership 🤦🏽♂️ All they care about is the "Ca-ching", they have to make their money somehow.... Bunch of corrupt fellows... ( Including CAF, UEFA etc ) |

Ngozi Okobi simply lacks class. Imagine comparing herself to Payne who is way above her in footballing ability. Has she forgotten how she and Rita Chikwelu used to mess our midfield up? She will most probably come out tomorrow to deny making those utterances. Anyway, her national team career is over, as more players have come in/ are coming in. |

| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by AndSunGorilla: 7:42pm On Aug 10, 2023 |
ThePresenceWtf:That's why I had accolades in quotes. Totally unnecessary and like you rightly said condescending. |

elyte89:I dey tell you. Can't understand how Waldrum finally showed her the exit door. Okobi, on her part, was simply a flash in the pan. Thank God we now breath a fresh of new air. |

elyte89:Not fair from you, Rita Chikwelu still remains one of the best Midfielder Nigeria has produced no matter what, Age have caught up with her and ought to have Left the team about 2 years ago but didn’t which was a wrong one from her own side… She deserves some respect, if you watch her play from U19 days you won’t say this… |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 8:20pm On Aug 10, 2023 |
AndSunGorilla:I kind of rate Precious Dede at no.2 in the All time best SuperFalcons goalkeepers… She was very good too.! |
