Ordega also is a shadow of herself
Ajakaiye reminds me of the younger Ordega
After the u20 World Cup
I see Nigeria starting with Ajibade & Ajakaiye on the wings.
Oh boy! Teams are in for big trouble
Kanu, Esther, Gift, Rinsola(?) ...you will bench all these girls just to play Ajakaiye. Person wey be say na pace and inshallah.

Concerning the Okobi vs Tony argument, I think we all should get use to personal biasedness of each monikers here. Let me rephrase, each of us has that particular aspect, player or team that we're kinda attached to.

🚨 All Federations have the same access to FIFA grants as Morocco but the NFF has no accountability.

According to Ngozi Sonia Okobi-Oke, there is money in the NFF but they can't account for where the money is going.🙄

He's not wrong tho. She's just super fast but lacks clinical finishing... If she can work well on that aspect, all I can say is Omo 😱

She's good in giving goal-begging crosses too...

The fact that only you see nothing wrong here should tell you a lot. Put down the sentiments for a second and look at it from an unbiased lens.

Why would you say a fellow player isn’t up to a certain standard? That’s for the coach to decide and not her. Even when a certain player criticizes, he/she does that to the whole team and doesn’t single out one person.
That's a childish analogy. So I should follow the majority simply because they are the majority? That will never be my portion.

This was not a post match interview. It was one of a player who was not even part of the squad. The tournament is over so this can't affect anything. She has the freedom of speech. Now Toni has the right to feel some type of way but u negros are not Toni.

Of all the young folks many people mention here, Flourish Sebastian is still the one I think has a better prospect. She's fast, skillful and can score. I just think she's not being managed well and will do better going the Abiodun route.

Ajakaye is still very raw and it showed at the last world cup. She still has a lot of work to do. Like you rightly noted, it's just pace and insha'Allah

Where's your courtesy?

Rita Chikwelu paid her dues.
Stop the blind comparison, go back and watch her matches in GWG (excluding 2 years back )

Is there a new rule that shove at the back isn't a penalty any more?

Happened to Alozie and now VAR just cancelled one for Netherlands

This Second half? True.

But their passes looks heavy and it looks like they're running on a beach sand 😂😂

Momentum changed fast. It was all Netherlands to a large extent.

Yeah, they looked more likely to sneak a win...
Whenever they attacked, they looked dangerous unlike Spain

I’m sorry Methuselah. Keep blessing us with your elderly knowledge and keep going in the opposite direction because it’s not to your portion and not because it’s the right thing to do.

Thank you. I watched her at the last WAFU and I was not really impressed because there are some flaws in her game. It is understandable as she is still young and has a long way to go. Folks here putting her straight in the Falcon's starting lineup better start comedy shows.

Sweden has neutralized Japan and making them look ordinary. Not sure if Sweden can sustain the high octane pressing for the entire 90 minutes. Job well done by Sweden, Sweden 1 vs Jap 0.
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by BlueMann: 9:23am On Aug 11, 2023
I did not expect Sweden to outplay Japan like this, to the point where the Japanese didn't have a single shot in a whole half, while Sweden had 11
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Odogwujayy: 9:43am On Aug 11, 2023
54 mins of play japan has 0 shots talkless of on target
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by COOL10(m): 10:14am On Aug 11, 2023
Japan hit the bar with a penalty and a freekick.

Finally they've scored.

FIFA want all European teams to play the semi final and probably win this year tournament.

Wrong. The Aussies will get to the finals if they beat France
England is no match for Australia

But for the reservations I have about working with the people at the glass house, Ashleigh Plumtre will make a great captain in the future.

She did an interview with Channels TV and some of the questions asked were more or less asking her to question the coach's tactics. Impressed with how she masterfully got herself out of it with great responses.

She'll definitely make a great coach someday too should she chose to.
