I'm sorry you're in this position but I think everyone on the family front can make minor compromise for the greater good. I'm also sure you saw it coming before you applied for the job, FG jobs most times will make you 'A travelling civil servant'. You can either set up base for the family where you currently live (Like most current civil servants) or ship them out everytime you get posted like the civil servants of the old days.

I'm not judging you bro but why didn't you move your family over since the job is well paying ?? Or if the job provide relocation why didn't you exercise patience and work transfer back to your place ??

It’s well, let me just give you my opinion as a fellow family man. Our primary responsibility is providing, if you already have a means of doing that then it’s understandable, but if you don’t please I would advise you to make a compromise and go for the job. Have a round table discussion with your wife and children they will understand. You can be visiting weekends once a month till you stabilise. Keep love aside first because the moment you are not able to provide for your family, uhm it’s well like I say.

Any man with responsibilities won't mind moving anywhere as long as he can provide for the needs of his family. The point here is that you have choices. It's good to have choices and I envy you for that but you should also understand that it is very unusual for a stranger on the internet to grant favors like this and even more painful that the recipient let it go to waste.

I believe you've thought this through and you are taking the decision you feel is best for your family. I wish you well for the future but I would advise whatever you have to say should be said to Nwanyiogwashi in private. There is no point seeking for pity or justification of your decision here. It's pointless.

It’s only right he defends his name/actions. In these agencies, the strength and level of ur connect is directly proportional to whether they are recruiting or not. In other words, if your connect is strong then yes, they are recruiting (they will add you to their list of next recruits immediately) but if your connect isn’t strong then sadly, they aren’t recruiting.
