I scanned my Camry 07 and got P0500 error. My speedometer isn’t working.

Please who can recommend a trusted Rewire in Ikorodu to help me fix this ?
Scan the ABS unit with a high end scan tool.

Good evening comrades. Please are there light weight AC Compressors that use less engine power?

My AC takes too much of engine power. While idling, the steering vibrates. On low speed especially on bad roads, the engine can go off. Sometimes it will cause overheating. It has one time damaged my alternator.

Although it chills quite well, the trouble is much. It's a manual 2005 Honda Civic
Most Honda vehicles till date, use manual compressors. I doubt there is anything wrong with yours. The ability of your AC electronics to communicate with the engine ECU so that the idle air control valve receives an instruction to compensate for new load when compressor is engaged is what I think is missing .

Summary, check IACV and AC communication controllers.

I have told you to get to the root cause of ur misfire issues, since cylinder 2 isn't detected, use its plugs and coil to test the remaining cylinders but you will need a scanner for the investigation.

Your solution is straight forward, after the test you will know whether the parts you are buying sef are faulty or wrong ones
Its how you're oversimplifying his issue for me. Be like misfire never show you sege before. You think it's all about changing coils and plugs.

What he needs is a competent mechanic to do a compression and leakdown test. It can be anything from bad timing, the engine needing valve adjustments or as bad as bent valves.

What you are pointing at, is the transmission input speed sensor, It is not responsible for cluster speed information.
It is, personal experience (no abs).

Yeah, considering the ABS is standard on the 07 Camry,

Speaking from experience right?
Diagnoses can be tricky with limited tools.

Biko I need help here. On Saturday I went to fix back the thermostat in my car due to fuel consumption issues. After I left there, my battery warning light came up. Since Saturday, it comes and goes. For example throughout yesterday, I didn't see it but while driving out to work this morning, it came up again. When it comes up, I get a check charging system warning on my instrument cluster. I don't have a multimeter to check the battery voltage but while driving, my scanner is always plugged on and it keeps giving me battery reading of 14volts at least. I dont have hard starting issues. So what could be wrong? I drive an Acura TSX 2008 model.

Check your wiring harness and wires going to be alternator for breach.
Also check for alternator related fuses that is not sitting well.
As long as you're always getting 14volts and not some crazy high or low voltage, your alternator is presumed fine.

Thanks a lot. What are the alternator related fuses I can check or tell a rewire to check? The one I met is just telling me to buy a new alternator and he does not even have a simple multimeter to check anything. Just carrying wires and tester and bulb up and down.

Hey fellow car enthusiasts!

I just had to share my recent discovery that has taken my car cleaning routine to a whole new level - the Car Wash Mitt! If you're looking for a way to achieve a professional-grade car wash at home, then this little gem is an absolute must-have.

Let me tell you why the Car Wash Mitt is the real deal:

Gentle on Your Car's Finish: The Car Wash Mitt is made from premium microfiber material that's super soft and non-abrasive. It ensures a scratch-free and swirl-free cleaning experience, which is vital in maintaining your car's pristine appearance.

Efficient and Time-Saving: With its high absorbency and generous size, you can cover large areas of your vehicle with a single pass. The mitt's dual-sided design also helps in reaching tight spots like grilles and badges, making the process quicker and more efficient.

Easy to Clean and Reusable: Unlike traditional sponges that tend to trap dirt and debris, the Car Wash Mitt is a breeze to clean. Just rinse it out, and it's ready for the next car wash. It's a long-lasting investment that'll save you money on disposable products in the long run.

Versatile and Multipurpose: Not only is it excellent for car exteriors, but you can also use the Car Wash Mitt for cleaning interiors, such as dashboards, leather seats, and more. Its gentle touch ensures no damage to sensitive surfaces.

Eco-Friendly Choice: By opting for a reusable Car Wash Mitt, you're reducing waste and being kinder to the environment. It's a small step towards a more sustainable car care routine.

Great Bang for Your Buck: Car Wash Mitts are incredibly affordable, considering the benefits they offer. You'll be amazed at the difference it makes in your car washing routine, all for a fraction of the price of professional detailing services.

When I experienced something like that, it was my alternator.

The brush of the alternator had depleted. So, the battery sign was showing intermittently on the dashboard. I kept ignoring it.

Then one day, the battery sign just remained permanently. I drove to the electrician straight and got there just before the battery died (because it was no longer charging). And the electrician changed the brushes of the alternator and it was fixed.

I do not think you can. The air-conditioning ecu is not connected to the can-bus. You will need some old sch touch

Hello

Please I'm in need of a car (V4 most preferably)...
I have a budget of 1.5m, I can max out at 1.7 (I'd rather 1.5 though, so I can do some repairs with the 200k).

Nothing heavy, mostly trips to and from work (Ajah to Lekki), might occasionally get on rida/indriver to do small hustle. Make AC dey, make e be leather seat (preferably, not compulsorily).
Incoming!!!! grin

I have suggested checking the brush to my rewire but he just wants me to buy a new alternator without checking anything.

Check another electrician na.

It's most likely the brush since the sign comes and goes.

The brush is subjected to constant friction, so it wears out with time.

Good evening GAZZUZZ,

Please i am having low engine oil pressure warning (Camry 2008) (Please note my oil level is not low

I scanned and i got this error...p0012 - camshaft position a - timing over retarded (bank 1).

In an attempt to to solve this error, I have changed the oil filter, cleaned the vvt Solenoid but all doesn't seems to take the warning away.

Please any idea of what could be wrong or possible solution ?

Thanks a lot

Possible problems.

Excessive wear in crankshaft journals or bearings or both .

Sludge .

Remotely not possible to diagnose .

Park the car. Possible solution is changing your oil pump. But your engine is full of sludge

Oil pump failure is very very rare, if you see the design of an oil pump you would understand why failure seldom happens.

For the hard cold start, check your fuel pump, especially the fuel pressure regulator.

For the fuel consumption, it's likely the car no longer has the thermostat intact. And the catalytic converter is likely already gone.

Is this car 4 or 6 cylinder?

Also, does the fan come on immediately you turn the ignition?

Scan the car and share the codes here.
Thanks bro .... I visited Kazeem . Rat don chop the indomie, termostat gone ! Infact all your suggests are right . But please is it advisable to get a universal catalytic converter ? As I was told it is effective and relatively not expensive ....

Okay Boss. Or could it be the oil screen that is blocked? Somehow the oil is not circulating as should be.

No rat will eat catalyst, either degrading or partly stolen.

Those Chinese things are what they are, honey combs. They will only reduce noise .
