Sokoto Communities Lament As Nigerian Army Shuts Down Border With Niger by Napata77: 4:14am On Aug 12, 2023 |
THE people of Sokoto never expected the dire situation presently confronting them, threatening their happiness and peace. But the sad reality soon dawned on them, casting a spell of discomfort on them, and since then it has been lamentations galore.https://www.vanguardngr.com/2023/08/niger-coup-sokoto-communities-lament-as-nigeria-shuts-borders/ 2 Likes 1 Share

Thomhenry: Oga, why laughing at other peoples' misfortune? This is not right. Plus one thing many of you fail to realise is that this war could reach Nigeria including the south. Putin is supporting Niger, so you will be there laughing and one cruise missile go decorate your face for Lagos or Onitsha or wherever you dey dey laugh. 6 Likes 3 Shares |

It’s just for a little while! We need to cripple Niger’s economy at all cost. Starve them before we start bombing them! Biafrans can attest to that tactic. By the time we start bombing them, they won’t have strength to fight back. 26 Likes |

If only those resident in the border communities know what's popping behind those closed borders, they will be in a marathon race practice session by now instead of complaining hardship that buhari brought since 2015. 28 Likes 2 Shares |

Ok. Nigeria Borders with all neighbouring countries should be properly manned with patriotic soldiers to check our fuel that is being diverted to other countries and the government should bring back subsidy because about 50% of our subsidize fuel was diverted to these countries. 1 Like |

Are we against the potential military action in Niger? Yes!! However, the northerners should cut BAT some slack ! It's been one complain or the other (from them) since BAT entered office.. Buhari did far worse, yet we didn't hear their voice. They are fond of this rubbish !! They did same thing with GEJ, steady lamenting, but when Buhari came onboard, they maintained silence !!! 76 Likes 9 Shares |

We are in a war situation... I wonder how some people think... So they expect that Nigeria should still open her borders while in a situation with Niger republic. 11 Likes 2 Shares |

I can imagine the huge impact of the border closure. Total of 7 Northern States border with Niger and Tribaly, they are basically same as Niger. It's like putting asunder 2family members. 9 Likes 2 Shares |
