Ok. Nigeria Borders with all neighbouring countries should be properly manned with patriotic soldiers to check our fuel that is being diverted to other countries and the government should bring back subsidy.

Patriotic Gini. In Nigeria grin grin grin

When Buhari closed Benin 🇧🇯 boarder, a lot of business was destroyed. Trailers of perishable goods was destroyed while the northern boarders was operating normal. God has a way of doing his own thing.

At least they should allow those returning back to the country to do so and those with perishable foods already at the border to deliver their consignment before they get bad. There is absolutely no need keeping them there.

It’s just for a little while!

We need to cripple Niger’s economy at all cost. Starve them before we start bombing them!

Biafrans can attest to that tactic. By the time we start bombing them, they won’t have strength to fight back.

For ur useless mind you have dropped statement that needed applaud..

Plus one thing many of you fail to realise is that this war could reach Nigeria including the south.

Putin is supporting Niger, so you will be there laughing and one cruise missile go decorate your face for Lagos or Onitsha or wherever you dey laugh. undecided

Which misfortune? Why are Southern boarders closed and Northern borders opened?

Is this not injustice?

I suggest Nigeria should be divided into two countries, Southern Nigeria and Northern Nigeria,
Just like South Sudan and Sudan, North Korea and South Korea etc,
But in the South the problem we may have are the Agbadorians they just can't live without their masters in the North.

Conflicts in Ukraine, conflicts in the middle east, conflicts within Nigeria, conflicts, with a Nigerian neighbor, conflicts around Taiwan, conflicts around her.

conflicts in Ethiopia, Sudan.

While most wail, some benefit from the chaos.

Those who think they're not and can't be affected by this war that they're proposing should keep deluding themselves.

Keep beating drums of War.

Everything na gragra. No diplomatic prowess.

Apparently, lessons haven't been learnt by Nigerians or the Nigerian government.

You're quite daft!
Common sense would have told you that if Nigeria is a consuming nation and closing the borders used to do cheap imports that helps reduce costs in the country will be shooting on our feet.

Nigers border with other neighbors are open so they can import what ever they can.

That is a very futile strategy. Are you aware that they have alliances with other nations? Biafra had literally no strong or willing support. All the acclaimed support were a charade. You can do that for a guerilla warfare not a full scale war, like the one your principal is brewing. Any hunger strike will be met by food shipment. Ask the west how far on the sanctions on Russia's economy.

That’s the problem about we southerners. We don’t make noise and we are too comfortable. I live in the north and I can tell you that is not possible to close border here. South are not unite, igbos and Yoruba will just be insulting each other on social media because of tinubu and obi. If both tribe can work together for this border to open through social media and many other way. The border will be open

However, the northerners should cut BAT some slack sad! It's been one complain or the other (from them) since BAT entered office..

Buhari did far worse, yet we didn't hear their voice. They are fond of this rubbish angry!!

They did same thing with GEJ, steady lamenting, but when Buhari came onboard, they maintained silence angry!!!

Asin eeh, just like Yorubas have maintained silence in the face of hardship.

nobody is laughing at anyone here, this is simply what you get when religious and ethnic sentiments are placed above capability and proven track records. You end up propping the most unsuitable people into sensitive positions and now, a situation that could have been solved with simple diplomacy is about to escalate into WW3. Of course, no part of the country is safe if this thing escalates like you said but we shouldn’t have been in this position in the first place if we agreed to do the right thing at the polls
