So which is the best airline to go with that doesn’t need a transit visa

Ticket for August, September is so costly. We paid 5.7m for I and 3 years old baby. For no layover in US or UK. Its the ones that need transit visa that's cheap. Unless you move your date to like 2 months later o

Did u pay for courier service?
If u did, then give them like 2days, den chat them up on webchat, they will give u d AWB number that u can use to track on their courier service partner which is "UPS"

I paid 31,160 to vfs and paid DHL separately to send it to them. I believe the return cost is inside the 31,160.

Do I send them my vfs track id to get the AWB number from UPS?

You have to enter Canada first. Register and enroll as a student with university of Manitoba. Ofcourse that means you must pay their first semester tuition atleast. Then after your first semester you change dli.
Meanwhile, make sure you have secured another admission and hold your new LOA. Once your first semester at university of Manitoba is done, you go to ircc website and change dli.
Don't try to change before you enter Canada. You will have your visa canceled

Only cheap colleges in Canada I know of are NBCC, NSCC, and Holland college.
But I don't think those are currently admitting international students. I thought university of Manitoba was quite cheap. How much is your entire first semester tuition (deposit included) in CAD?

You can't do that from Nigeria you need to enter Canada register as a student in University of Manitoba, then before you can initiate the change to a DLI, but you will still inform IRCC about the change of institution.
Good Luck

tenderjunkie:

But I've answered you already.

This flight has a stop in the USA, so you'll need a transit visa.

Let me give you a tip for booking.
Go to wakanow
Search by the date you intend to travel.
The only flight you should consider that has more than 1 stop is Ethiopian airways
Filter by number of stops (1 stop)
Filter by Ethiopian (cos of adis ababa and Dublin stops)
Compare prices
Play around with the date to see if you can get cheaper options.
Also, you might want to play around with the departure locations i.e Lagos, Abuja etc. Some airlines like Lufthansa are slightly cheaper when departing from Abuja
When you find a price and flight that suits you, go to their website directly.
You may be required to pay in dollars
You can use a dollar card, a virtual dollar card, or ask a friend abroad to pay for you
If you can't pay in dollars, kuku go back to wakanow and pay in naira (slightly higher)

Please what do you think about this ….does this need a transit visa ? I mean does Belgium requires visa ?

Pls my Sister in UK is a nurse on fulltime job with a hospital in UK but is a year contract which she can renew if she wants. Is she qualified join my mum to co-sponsor me or must the sponsor be in Nigeria. I'm anticipating admission for a four year PhD but may only be able to show tuition for 2yrs + 1yr living expense at point of visa application.

Program officer 2, National Orientation Agency, Lagos

• Lead development of project scope, budget, time line, and obtained necessary ap-provals.

• Collaborated with Purchasing Department on RFP development and contractor selection.
• Facilitated project meetings with appropriate internal and external stakeholders.

• Ensured proper close-out of all projects, including final punch list and close-out documents.

I am considering applying for a diploma program but i've read here that might visa officers might find that unusual. Further advices/guidance would be appreciated particularly from those who had Third Class honours and have gained admission to a PGD program

Good....

Leverage on your work experience to apply for a Post Graduate Certificate admission, cos there seem to be a connection with your work experience and project management.

I don't know if you submitted a COVER LETTER and a Canadian Style RÉSUMÉ for your admission, if you didn't, do that in your next application for a PostGraduate Certificate program, it could/would boost your chances for the admission and show you are a good fit for the program.

You need to Draft a cover letter for admission that will show the admission committee how your work experience, your Bachelor's degree align with the post graduate certificate Program most especially the course outline of that program

Look at the Cover Letter for Admission to Cambrian College, Sudbury, Ontario for Project Management based on your Work Experience, Academic background and course outline for the project management program

Post Graduate Certificate in Project Management
Cambrian College
Sudbury, Ontario

Dear Admissions Committee,

I am writing to express my strong interest in the Post Graduate Certificate in the Project Management program at Cambrian College. The comprehensive course outlines you provide align perfectly with my aspirations and professional background, making this program an ideal fit for my continued education and career growth.

My work experience as a Program Officer 2 at the National Orientation Agency in Lagos State, Nigeria, has equipped me with practical skills that resonate well with the content of the project management courses offered in the program. I have successfully led the development of project scopes, budgets, and timelines while obtaining necessary approvals, a practice that aligns closely with the curriculum's emphasis on Project Scope Management, Project Quality Management, and Project Cost Management. Additionally, my collaboration with the Purchasing Department on RFP development and contractor selection reflects a synergy with the Project Procurement Management module.

Having facilitated project meetings involving internal and external stakeholders, I have gained insights into effective communication strategies and stakeholder engagement, skills that would be enhanced further through the Project Stakeholder Management course. My dedication to proper project close-outs, including final punch lists and close-out documents, resonates with the principles emphasized in the program's Project Integration Management module.

Furthermore, my academic background in International History & International Studies, combined with my work experience, positions me well to appreciate the relevance of the Business Ethics and CSR module, as well as the Indigenous Business Workshop. These courses resonate deeply with my values and aspirations to contribute positively to the community and society at large.

I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to apply Agile Project Management principles, learn about sustainability through the Sustainability Workshop, and engage with the diverse perspectives offered by the Indigenous Business Workshop. The comprehensive coverage of topics in the program outline mirrors my passion for effective project execution and aligns seamlessly with my career goals.

In conclusion, I believe that my work experience as a Program Officer, coupled with my academic background, will greatly enrich the learning experience in the Post Graduate Certificate in Project Management program at Cambrian College. I am confident that this program will provide me with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the field of project management and contribute meaningfully to complex and dynamic projects.

Thank you for considering my application. I eagerly await the opportunity to contribute my experiences to the program and learn from the diverse perspectives of both faculty and fellow students.

Sincerely,

Your Name

About DIPLOMA admission,

Yes, a diploma is a wrong Academic Progression for a Bachelor's degree holder. A Visa Officer officer will most likely frown at that, cos he will assume you just want to JAPA (Wrong Purpose of Visit to Canada). Since you have a Bachelor's degree, a Visa Officer will expect you to go for a Post Graduate Certificate or Masters (depending on your grades) in a related field to what you studied in the University (Academic Progression) or work experience even if it's not related to what you studied in the University (Career Progression).

Though some members on this platform have said that if such applicant can give cogent reasons on his/her SOP why he/she wants to go for a Diploma (as a Bachelor's degree holder) instead of a Post Graduate Certificate, then that person's study visa application might be approved.

I would suggest you await the response of the gurus on that, or some based on experience response from Bachelor's degree holder who used diploma admission to get their Study Visa Approved to Canada before you make a move.

Good luck
