that is because you didn't experience what Nigeria went through under military rule
stop talking rubbish.. Military rule has evolved. It's just a step away from democracy.

Afterall, Nigerian politicians have totally crumbled Nigeria.

English said the worse democracy is better then the best military regime, but I disagree that in Nigeria...........

Infact democracy has impoverished Africa as a whole more while our leaders are feeding fat from our common resources. It is always family business. Enriching their unborn generation.

There won't be coup. The Masses will invade aso Rock and chase him out . It happened in srilanka. When people decides to fight no military can stop them.

If there's one thing I've learnt from over 8 years of the APC Govt, it's that whenever they refute an imaginary rumour, its usually a means to shift focus from pressing issues.

This was the same way they were singing songs of an imaginary interim govt threat because they thought that Obidients will protest. They needed a viable excuse to kill innocent people, only to be disappointed by Peter Obi when he called for zero protests. Clowns!

Nigerians go about your regular daily activities, nobody is calling for any coup. APC has lied so much that they have become too predictable!

Clown like you should better be ignored. Some of you Obi-dient think bcoz you hate Tinubu and therefore want him out even through undemocratic ways. You're indirectly killing your lord and savior Obi Obidient political dream. Would soldiers give him power thereafter? Soldiers would rule you for the next 20 yrs and let's see you would be able to talk or insult.

Emeka and Shinedu, come here;let me lend you some senses ! Now, you guys are wishing for a military coup in Nigeria because your kinsman lost an election, right ? Oh my,.....you have no idea about the kind of calamity you re ignorantly calling on your own heads ! You guys are yet to realise how deep the shit you're in is; it's way deeper than you can ever imagine !

Check this out :

* Igbo military officers are not,and will never be,in any position to stage a coup in Nigeria.
* Come rain or sunshine, the North will always prefer South west to south east as an ally. Hausa/Fulani will only forgive Igbo only if they (Igbo) can bring Tafawa Balewa and Ahmadu Bello back to life !
*In the event of any coup in Nigeria at this point, have you guys considered the grave implications of such for your people ,majority of whom are living outside of your region ? You honestly think if military takes over from Tinubu,God forbid, Yoruba people will still allow you to continue living peacefully with them in their land ? Oh my.. ..so pe otilo !
*Head or tail ,I mean, military or democracy, Igbo people stand no chance in Nigeria ! You guys have stupidly boxed yourselves into a very terrible, tight corner and you can't even come out of it in a very long time to come !

Dear Emeka and Shinedu, what you're wishing for is your end only that you're too daft to realise it !

Where are we today as A NATION? Is this how they practice Democracy in Europe or Other parts of the world? This Nigeria type of Democracy is worst than Military Rule

You are entitled to your opinion. If 1966 coup did not happen, perhaps democracy would have taken root and developed better in Nigeria. But some impatient folks just like you killed it barely six years into independence and set Nigeria on the path of war and almost 40 years of military rule.
This is the path some selfish people are trying to take us once again.

[quote author=Fugazy2023 post=125068187]Ipob/Obidafts/Thief Obi children are unpatriotic clowns grin. They don't love the country and they don't care about the country. They are always happy whenever there is a bad news about Nigeria but they become bitter and sad whenever there is a good news. In fact, they start to criticize and condemn the good news calling it all sorts.

Hear and hear loud and clear, IGBOS/IBOS or wherever name you want to call it will never rule this country.
It's too dangerous to handover power to country haters and prospective coup plotters.

Igbos are better left wailing and crying and hating. We are used to that and it's better we kept it that way.
The day an igbo man becomes president is the end of the country so we will not allow that to happen.

The only people allowed to rule Nigeria are Yoruba, Hausa and South south people.
Igbos? ❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌
Ijaws ✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅
Yoruba ✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅
Hausa ✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅[you must be the biggest fool I've ever known, look at you spewing trash, so the igbos are not part of Nigeria, but you want to rule them. Fool. I hate bigots with everything in me.
Jsyk, am not Igbo! But from the hate you keep spreading on every political post it shows how backward you are!/quote]

1960 was a long year behind, we cant continue making excuses. It's better we dont have a government than having the ones that keep on with same excuses.

It will be a miracle if there is no coup in Nigeria in the next 2 years.

Power pass power. If the likes of Ibrahim Traore of Burkina Faso enters a room, someone like Tinubu will be calm as a dove.

This government is only three months in. Your criticism is insincere and motivated by Partisanship. No human being can change any country in three months.

No matter how bad the situation appears to be, calling for the military to take over power is treasonable.

Two wrongs can never make right.

It's not even that.

Coups are for people that know how to keep secrets. Cos it takes months to plan.

Late Cornel Dimka's coup took over 6 months to plan.

Late Gen Diya's coup took over 5 months of planing.

Coups takes time to plan, and more time to recruit resourceful officers would would play strategic roles to ensure that it's a success.

The kind of Generals we have today cannot keep such information to themselves for that long. Once they hit the club and get drunk, they'll leak it to their girlfriends. Some might even leak it to their wives or children. So the coup would be crushed before it even begins.

I don't think any military officer in Nigeria today, can plan coup for 3 months without the information falling into the wrong ears. It's not possible.

The soldiers we had those days were real men.
