Is it not a doctrine of necessity to save our cun3 from constitutional subversion by unscrupulous elements(politicians) or corrupt judiciary?
Re: Nigeria: Military Reject 'highly Unpatriotic' Calls To Sabotage Democracy by ycat: 4:12am On Aug 13, 2023
Nigeria democracy is intact because Peter Obi that rigged the elections didn't win, so we actually dodged the bullet.
Tntsi:
But democracy in Nigeria is sabotaged already.
The constitution which holds democracy in our nation was thrown in the mud in a political coup to select an unconstitutional being.

The Federal Govt should be very careful and watch Ibos very closely, both home and abroad. They ruined First Republic and destroyed Balewa. They ruined Third Republic and destroyed Abiola. We don't want a repeat under Tinubu.

I love how our military are sending messages out to those who are trying to fool them into hijacking the power like those Niger Junta, it's really commendable. However, I can't stop giggling at the expression 'hard-earned democracy......' by a military officer lolz.

This government is only three months in. Your criticism is insincere and motivated by Partisanship. No human being can change any country in three months.

APC has been there for over 8years, why are we really shying away from the failure of the political party itself?

Your reverse psychology is not working bro if not for God una are prepared to turn the whole country into war and anarchy.

You will never succeed in bullying Nigerians with your violence and aggression but like everyone your options will be building alliances and positive relationships.

If there's one thing I've learnt from over 8 years of the APC Govt, it's that whenever they refute an imaginary rumour, its usually a means to shift focus from pressing issues.

This was the same way they were singing songs of an imaginary interim govt threat because they thought that Obidients will protest. They needed a viable excuse to kill innocent people, only to be disappointed by Peter Obi when he called for zero protests. Clowns!

Nigerians, go about your regular daily activities, nobody is calling for any coup. They're just trying to look busy. Eye service! APC has lied so much that they have become too predictable!!

The discontent with the so called democracy in Nigeria is very loud in the military. Politicians, in collaboration with the military high command who are feeding very fat at the expense of lower level cadres in the military, are behind the press release.

It's your ilk who are evidently ok intent on sabotage of the democracy and the constitution as currently available.
As a neighbour and myself were discussing some days ago he brought my attention to the fact that the constitution we currently have is a duplication of some sorts with 1979 constitution, all constitutions are in their inception and in through their lifetime inherently flawed which is why a legislature is elected to make amendments signed by an elected executive and matters of contention adjudicated by the SC if need be.

The praised basis of democracy, the American declaration of independence and constitution which followed penned by the founding father's which stated with bold acclaim "all men are created equal" also argued such didn't extend to slaves, as agreed by historians & abolitionists the basis of their cry for independence was a "self evident lie" but the document remains the basis from which all laws are made and redacted, the "pursuit of happiness" continues to motivate the young and old in that flawed nation of hypocrites, saints and sinners.

Ignorance is truly the bane of Africa and some like yourself who are so easily swayed by mischievous entities like a line- cloth blowing in the wind are the tools of anarchy and destruction. The true bane of humanity

God help us !

Let the suffering continue, one dollar is already 1000 naira and 1 liter of petrol is going to 800naira yet government has no solutions to the problems on ground saying that market forces will adjust itself as it goes on.
I want to ask questions, a country that is blessed with full natural resources but yet 150 millions of its population are poor, should we say it normal ?

Millitary rule did not make us more prosperous in the past.

Let's be honest. Nigeria's problem is not because we are not sharing money equitably but because the money we earn is not enough in the first place

And the only way we can earn tons of money is by using our natural resources to make products the world needs

European military Generals liberated their respective countries and country people from Nazism, Fascism, Communism..
Nigeria's 🇳🇬 military Generals eat peppersoup in joints and fcuck women.
In 2019 and 2023, INEC's Yakubu Mahmood APPOINTED PRESIDENTS for Nigeria through denial of existence of INEC SERVER in 2019 and disabling of INEC systems for electronic transmission of vote results of presidential election in 2023.
The military sit down idly and watch Mahmood Yakubu.
Mahmood Yakubu's APC has made Nigeria become the POVERTY CAPITAL of the world and one of the most terrorised countries on earth.

So your answer to a (completely unproven) violation of the constitution is a military regime which will completely disregard any constitutional or legal restrictions whatsoever, and we're supposed to take you seriously? Your answer to a few million Obidients not getting their way is the disenfranchisement of the entire Nigerian populace?

GTFO with your nonsense, and admit that you're like the woman in the proverb about Solomon and the baby: you would rather Nigeria fall into utter ruin if your preferred candidate can't be (unconstitutionally) foisted upon the rest of us by hook or by crook, despite his having been clearly rejected by the majority of the voters at the polls. Fundamentally, you lot have never believed in democracy - that's why it never occurred to you to appeal to all Nigerians by attempting to persuade rather than through threats and islamophobic paranoia, yet you have the nerve to claim "rigging" when your crusading champion was rejected by every single majority Muslim state.

1.Will Muslims allow christain/christain candidates.
2. Did tinubu win the election "democratically".
