Babatunjo:What stupid democracy are you talking about? Is that office his father's garden? Stop calling it his democracy after all he never won the election. The only danger to democracy is politician's inpunities. Had Bazoum done well, the people would have rallied their support for him and made it impossible for any coup. Agbado should continue his directionless policies and muscling of opposition. E go shock am. 8 Likes 3 Shares |

Nazgul:it's because of the pipe line that runs from Nigeria through Niger to Europe. He's afraid the coup plotters will blow it up, because they believe the coup was plotted by Russia, and Putin will order them to blow it up to suffer the Europeans. beejay85: Before Niger republic, there were three other coups in West Africa. What happened to the so-called treaty that it wasn't used as an excuse to invade and dislodge those other coups? Why's Niger's case peculiar? What is so important about Niger republic that Bola Tinubu is willing to risk Nigeria as we know it just to invade the country? Or did the other three countries not sign the same treaty? 6 Likes |

Taylor92: Haba, must you always bring your lack of home training to the public domain?! And if I may ask, which of the Presidents that have ruled Nigeria have manifesto? The only sincere ones among them is Yar'Adua and death took him away. So make your points next time without showing your lack of home training. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Horus: The removal of the subsidy has removed one of the largest sources of corruption and patronage ever. His unification of the exchange rates (though, partially botched by the acting CBN governor) does the same as well. He wasn't the president that made Nigeria the poverty capital of the world. It was Buhari. It would take time for the regression under Buhari to be addressed but he is on to a good start by ending those 2 subsidies. 3 Likes |

Nazgul: Nigeria spent 10million dollar in just feeding and logistics in Liberia war then when our currency had value. I think we should be asking what's tinubu's motives behind this push for war, what's he trying to achieve in this war at this point where Nigeria is at the verge of total bankrupt, why is he looking outward instead of inward.

sslcrypt: Do you even know that the electricity we supply to Niger is not free? It's in fulfilment of river Niger treatise between Nigeria & Niger which stated that Niger would not dam (divert) river Niger, let it flow freely to Nigeria & in return, Nigeria would supply them electricity (& Nigeria gets to have water for irrigation farming in the northern Nigeria, dams & water security in the north). Now that mumu Tinubu has violated the treaty by cutting electricity to Niger, even if democracy does return to Niger they would never trust Nigeria ever again, they would seek self sufficient in power supply by damming the river because Nigeria has done it now & would weaponise electricity again at any slight scuffle. Tinubu & his advisers are the dumbest by far. Tinubu has established a grave distrust in this regard & put dent on Nigeria's integrity forever. Educate yourself on this topic. 3 Likes 1 Share |

No war but this is the opportunity for ecowas to split into 2. Let coup countries be on one side, democratic countries on the other side. They all are still ecowases, just different mission. Rules have to mean something in every organization. |
