For a married person going on DEPENDENT VISA please UKVI never asked for 2 years evidence . Provide proof of your genuine marriage, there is no rule of 2 years asked from your visa category

Got my visa 8 days after and theirs are still at received by DMC

Have they gotten their VISAs yet?

I got my UK student visa. Applied on the 31st of July and 3rd august got a dhl notification that my passport was on its way back to me. My BRP email dropped a few days later. My application was priority.

I am a dependent who got married in March 2023. I have gotten my visa and here are what I uploaded:

Document Uploaded (Depedant)
- Passport Data page
- MA CAS
- Bank Statement
- Wedding Certificate
- 3 years text message screenshots
- 3 years pre wedding and wedding pictures
- TB Certificate

Additional Document Uploaded for Proof of Relationship (Got an NSF for more proof of relationship so I had to send these to ukvi:
- Joint Account Bank Statement showing same address.
- Rent Receipt in couples name showing same address. (We stayed for 2 years before marriage but you can use between when you got married and present)
- 3 years WhatsApp chat
- 3 years text message screenshots
- 3 years relationship photos
- Wedding photos
- Dependant bank statement showing same address.

PS: You can also use joint investment document. But generally, use what you have to show proof of same address.

Please house,happy Sunday to you all.I want to ask a question,can I do a TB test abroad from an approved IOM U.k center and use the result in Nigeria.My flight to Nigeria is at the end of this month and school resumes on 15th of September.I have only got till 11th of September for my P.O.F to out run its 30 days period.I don't want booking for TB in Nigeria to waste much of my little time left.Responses will be highly appreciated.

What country have you lived in? It may be exempt from TB test.

If not please do the TB test in the country you are applying from

@duchess90 My husband and I did our bio on the 2nd of August and I got my visa on the 9th of August but his application is still at DMC. I am the MA and we submitted our application on the 27th of July.
We got married in June 2023 but we submitted evidences of been together since 2018 including whatsapp chat history and pictures till date.

I got NSF asking me to explain some source of funds on the 4th of August which I did and he got an empty NSF same day.

Any advice

Hello Duchess and everyone in the house, we are having an issue here. A friend is applying for a study visa. After paying the IHS surcharge, she discovered that she picked that funds were held in her name when it's rather held in her parents account/name. Now she can't make changes. She is yet to pay the application fee. Please, what's the way forward? Thanks

And also may I ask,can a statement of account from a mortgage bank be accepted for visa application?

Can I declare my family are in the U.k,though they went there through study route,I want to be on the safe side since I read something related to not declaring if we have family members in the U.k who are not citizens
