For Liverpool, the issue is their midfield, something is missing there. Arnold is giving Konate more work or I should say made it burdensome for him when defending.

All in all, I love the intensity of this game and the end to end excitement.

Chelsea played ok, even though I'd say Liverpool's lack of coordination contributed massively.
I guess by game week 6, we'll get a clearer picture.
on the basis of this game, both teams are pap.

Leyqute i am hearing that your boy Elyh Harrison might be on the bench tomorrow. Apparently all our keepers apart from Onana are injured. Don't know how true it is.

P.S It seems the next one up from the academy this season will be Ethan Williams. Don't buy shares yet , but watch this space.

That'll be a good experience for him. I want him to get as close to the action as possible before he gets any minutes. The familiarity will help him when/if his time comes.

Ethan Williams seems like he could do a job on the wings. He looks comfortable with both feet.

Ethan Williams seems like he could do a job on the wings. He looks comfortable with both feet.

I am still not sure about Williams. He really should have been our Under-18 player of the year last season instead of Mainoo and his ability to shoot, cross, and dribble with both feet is very rare indeed, but he can be a bit boneheaded sometimes. We will see how he does when he starts playing some Under-21 games later this season. I expect our Under-18s to do fairly well this season. The good 2nd year scholars like Harrison, McAlllister, Williams, will be more experienced and with rated 1st year scholars like Fletcher's son, Lacey, Fitgerald we might have another deep run in the FA Youth Cup. We have started loading midfielders again with mediocre wingers and strikers.

Because Brighton have Chelsea's mumu button. They are probably doing one elaborate money laundering scheme at Stamford Bridge because some of their moves have been questionable to say the least.

Based on statistics there are 4 players at Brighton that might be moving for close to 100m Euro within the next 1-2 years, namely Evan Ferguson, Kaoru Mitoma, Facundo Buonanotte, and Julio Enciso. Yahoo Boys need to get in touch with Brighton management to learn work.

The good thing is that in the Under-18s everybody gets given a chance or else people will stop coming to your academy. It’s more about developing a huge number of professionals than results. It’s only in the FA Youth Cup that the best team will get selected almost every time. With the midfielders and defenders we have we can go far in the cup but the strikers (Wheatley and Musa) have so far been underwhelming unlike McNeill and Hugill’s set.

I still don't understand how many Manchester United fans get carried away by the minimum. The way people were shouting "we are back" after only 3 players makes me angry. As far as i am concerned, this transfer window has been underwhelming so far.

Most of us are still worried about how this season will pan out, especially with our attackers that are mostly average. And we still can't sell players.

The whole thing is worrisome. We are just hoping and praying for the best situation.
