It's two things:

It's either the squad is decent as you claimed and Ole isn't clueless as brandished

Or

The squad is made of good quality and Ole is Clueless.

But what's facts is that both can't be bad

Lol, Chelsea will tag their team last season as one of the worst they've ever had. This is a team that recently won the UCL. What's the crazy thing in finishing 2nd and 3rd?

A team can be good in one season and become totally terrible in another. That's what the likes of SAF and Pep are masters in avoiding. They start gradually clearing out players before the become something else(toxic or past it).

The problem is when I say team, you're thinking of individuals. You're wondering how a team that had Pogba, Ronaldo, Rashford, and co is termed the worst in years. But what I mean is the team as a collective. Cuz that's what matters.
