A recent passport photograph
A copy of your National Identification Number (NIN)
A copy of your birth certificate


Are these the only things? I am seeing some people saying certificate of origin... is that compulsory?

Please help me🙏🏾

You can only collect for minor. You have to go with your partner if your partner is included because of activation.

Someone said yes I can and another person said I cannot. I am now confused.

Passport activation on the day of collection makes it difficult for a third party/family member...

Local government letter of identification/ State of origin certificate. (Original and photocopy)

Original and photocopy of your birth certificate from NPC or attestation of birth from NPC (if you were born after 1992). Age declaration ( if you were born before 1992).

2 recent colour passport photographs.

Gurantor’s form sworn to before a Commissioner of Oaths|High Court| Magistrate. Attach the copies of your guarantor’s passport data page, NIN slip or driving licence.

Marriage certificate (married women only).

Copy of online payment slip.

Copy of acknowledgement slip.

Original and photocopy of your NIN slip.

Printed copy of filled, dated and signed passport application form.

Copy of appointment slip.

My brother, I captured on 24th of April, up till now I never hear peem...even I went to SERVICOM to logde complain last month and I even collected there number, ever since then had been calling the number they refused to pick my calls...Honestly this is something else...

Honestly, I learnt about their ways in Osogbo passport office late, I would have used another office.

People on this forum told me they are notorious for delaying people on DIY mode passports, so as to discourage those that may be nursing the idea of doing it themselves there.

You mean your passport is ready but it could not be activated? So, if you pay 2k they would that for you, and if not you would have to come back later for the same activation? This Nigeria sha

Please I want to ask if I should renew my passport and make payment on the online website,would they capture me a new photograph or they'll just use same details from the old booklet because the picture on my expired passport is from 2015 and its old I want to change it along with my signature

Try to give us an update tomorrow...

I got to Sagamu center around 8:47am this morning, I haven't printed my guarantor NIN and data page of guarantor. I went straight to computer center to print them; per page was #500.

I proceed to SERVICOM where I was asked by majority of immigration officers I spoke to who was my agent, my failure to give them name, I was been told to wait outside the SERVICOM office.
After a while, one of the officers asked me to come inside, which I did with all Joy. First question was : where you told you will pay #6,000 ? I said yes. I gave him the cash and immediately he counted it, he put the money inside my file. It was now around 10:30am.

Not until around 1:30pm I did capturing. I left there around 1:45 pm

Around 2:30pm I got home , I login to my page , I discovered that all have been ticked; now in passport issued.
In the paper I was given, it was written there
Collection date : 21/08/2023.
Is this possible?

OBSERVATION

1) Print out is #500. Do it before you get there.

2) Do it yourself ; all will pay #6,000. Except maybe God help you

3) If you diy they'll answer you, but it may take a bit of time.

4) Food there is very very expensive.

5) File is #500. Not negotiable.

6) Sagamu center is fair considering Nigeria situation

7) If you pay #2,000, you get a guarantor who will sign for you.

This has to do with court and law. Can't say it here, am sorry. You care to know? Email me.
