We dominated the first half only to be sucker punched 0-1. We started the 2nd half on fire only for Leeds to score with their first counter 0-2. We then pressed them like brezz for the rest of the game.

Our midfielders are decent but we don’t have good strikers or wingers, so we just control the game toothlessly until our defence slips up and we concede a goal.

Even the Under-18 strikers Wheatley and our Edo son Musa have been underwhelming so far.

I set notifications to watch the match but got occupied with something else before kickoff. I’ll watch the highlights later.

The management at Brighton to use as an example do not even smell access to 30% of the pull and money we have at our beck and call. At least supposedly, if the last decade of spending is to be taken at face value. Which club is supposed to have it easier? Between United and Brighton when it comes to recruitment work for talents and what have you all over the footballing world.
This thing is not going to the supermarket to get products that you're assured of their effectiveness before even using.
There would be hits and misses, the essential thing is to have enough quality that would eventually work out to offset that.
But like I said, the excuses would be small and mid clubs have more chances to do and undo. Get it wrong and get it right till something works or so. Less pressure yadayada.
When it's not that we don't have eyes to see, the United that have pressure and can't afford chances and risks.
