FUNAAB Students And Alumni Behind Ponzi Schemes, Forex Scams And MMM In Nigeria? by DesChyko: 9:39pm On Aug 19, 2023
An X user, ๐Ÿ‘‘S.A.L.A.K.O๐Ÿ•Š who goes by the handle @UnkleAyo has dropped a controversial revelation that most of the ponzi schemes, forex scams and MMM-like frauds in Nigeria are being perpetrated by FUNAAB students or ex-students.

In his exact words

"I'm going to ditch statistically accuracy and throw numbers in the air.
60% of ponzi schemes, forex scams and MMM lookalikes in Nigeria have been executed by present or ex students of FUNAAB.
What is in the waters of FUNAAB that engineers her students to fraud?

Personally, I will like to assume that this is a wild claim, as with most random statistics. However, his comment happened to generate some interesting reactions:

@Tola_niii prefers to have another term for them: "They are not fraudsters. They are INVESTORS !!"

@_MumJeans claims to have fallen a victim: "FUNAAB boys that are not criminals arenโ€™t up to 40%! Till today, my 2.6m still dey one werey hand ๐Ÿ˜ซ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ and I was on my own o, na another omo werey use him own koba me."

@TheOgbeniOpa was of the opinion that those were in the past: "Luckily, these sets has been moved on few yrs ago and many have also learnt their lessons. Some in the hard way though. Some didn't live long enough to learn though."

Over to our FUNAAB graduates/undergraduates. What is the element of truth is this? Accept or Disregard?
