ABUNDANT LIFE VISION
I AM THAT I AM. Exodus 3:10-15
Now go, for I am sending you to Pharaoh. You must lead my people Israel out of Egypt.” [11]But Moses protested to God, “Who am I to appear before Pharaoh? Who am I to lead the people of Israel out of Egypt?” [12]God answered, “I will be with you. And this is your sign that I am the one who has sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God at this very mountain.” [13]But Moses protested, “If I go to the people of Israel and tell them, ‘The God of your ancestors has sent me to you,’ they will ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what should I tell them?” [14]God replied to Moses, “i am who i am. Say this to the people of Israel: i am has sent me to you.” [15]God also said to Moses, “Say this to the people of Israel: Yahweh, the God of your ancestors—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you. This is my eternal name, My name to remember for all generations. NLT.

In human communication, when we meet new people, we start by asking for our names and we try to connect with ourselves by attempting to know who we are talking or relating with. There is one thing about asking someone about his or her name, it depicts unfamiliarity and strangeness. It shows that the person you are speaking to is someone that you do not know. Moses asking for the name of God to tell the people of Israel depicts that they were unfamiliar with God. They had knowledge of many gods but they were not knowledgeable about the true God.
Therefore, I am that I am is God’s way of introducing himself to people who do not know him. The reaction of the people when they complained about the increased hardship Pharaoh meted on them after Moses asked for their freedom in Exodus 5:6-23 shows that they didn’t know him. Also, their murmuring against Moses at the Red Sea and by quickly turning away from God to idols in the wilderness are proves that they did not know him. Exodus 14:9-14: The Egyptians chased after them with all the forces in Pharaoh’s army—all his horses and chariots, his charioteers, and his troops. The Egyptians caught up with the people of Israel as they were camped beside the shore near Pi-hahiroth, across from Baal-zephon. [10]As Pharaoh approached, the people of Israel looked up and panicked when they saw the Egyptians overtaking them. They cried out to the lord, [11]and they said to Moses, “Why did you bring us out here to die in the wilderness? Weren’t there enough graves for us in Egypt? What have you done to us? Why did you make us leave Egypt? [12]Didn’t we tell you this would happen while we were still in Egypt? We said, ‘Leave us alone! Let us be slaves to the Egyptians. It’s better to be a slave in Egypt than a corpse in the wilderness!’” [13]But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the lord rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again. [14]The lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.” NLT. Exodus 32:1: When the people saw how long it was taking Moses to come back down the mountain, they gathered around Aaron. “Come on,” they said, “make us some gods who can lead us. We don’t know what happened to this fellow Moses, who brought us here from the land of Egypt.” NLT.

The revelation of God to Moses was an attempt to reveal himself to a group of people who did not know him, the result is the deliverance of the nation of Israel and the law of Moses which was designed to reveal their sins to them. Romans 7:7-14: Well then, am I suggesting that the law of God is sinful? Of course not! In fact, it was the law that showed me my sin. I would never have known that coveting is wrong if the law had not said, “You must not covet.” [8]But sin used this command to arouse all kinds of covetous desires within me! If there were no law, sin would not have that power. [9]At one time I lived without understanding the law. But when I learned the command not to covet, for instance, the power of sin came to life, [10]and I died. So I discovered that the law’s commands, which were supposed to bring life, brought spiritual death instead. [11]Sin took advantage of those commands and deceived me; it used the commands to kill me. [12]But still, the law itself is holy, and its commands are holy and right and good. [13]But how can that be? Did the law, which is good, cause my death? Of course not! Sin used what was good to bring about my condemnation to death. So we can see how terrible sin really is. It uses God’s good commands for its own evil purposes. [14]So the trouble is not with the law, for it is spiritual and good. The trouble is with me, for I am all too human, a slave to sin. NLT.

However, sin took advantage of the knowledge of the law to dominate mankind. It is at the point that God introduced himself again as I am that I am through Jesus by dying for our sins and make us right with him by faith. Romans 7:15-25. Therefore, the I am that I am is speaking to you today to turn to him and know him as your creator and saviour if you are ready to follow him by confessing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, say this prayer wholeheartedly; Dear Jesus, I believe that you died for my sins and you resurrected on the third day by the power of God, please forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life and I will serve you forever. Amen. If you have recited the prayer, I congratulate you and I urge you to join a bible believing church as you begin your journey in Christ.

God bless you.

But Moses said to the true God: “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your forefathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is his name?’ What should I say to them?” So God said to Moses: “I Will Become What I Choose to Become.” And he added: “This is what you are to say to the Israelites, ‘I Will Become has sent me to you.’” Exodus 3:13-14

Trinitarians always quote this mistranslation to support their trinity simply because Jesus said "before Abraham came into existence i have been"
Trinitarians translated it to:
"Before Abraham I am"
Then their clergy will correlate it with their "I am that I am" claiming Jesus is the same person.

So if any of them wants to know the truth we'll just leave it for such ones to make his own personal research! smiley

Smile... always jumping around to cherry pick whatever favour him.

From the same screenshot, you didn't see this "The Rotherham translation uses the word “Yahweh” as the translation of God’s name"

Besides, if this is the meaning of God's name. Why then do you reject it when God became MAN? cheesy grin cheesy grin

"I will become what I CHOOSE to become"

Has God proved this to be true at any time? grin cheesy grin cheesy cheesy
