You don't have to invite him before he would come. Same way he attended commissioning of Dangote Refinery in Lagos in May without an invite. Even if he's passing by and you're doing naming ceremony, he would attend.

The truth is Obi didn't mentor anyone. Tinubu mentored a lot of people and till today, 90% of them are still around him among which one of them succeeded him as Gov.

Who succeeded Obi as Gov? Obiano did. Was Obiano in his cabinet? No. He was an Executive Director in Fidelity Bank where Obi has a major share. Is that mentorship? Obi didn't see anyone worthy to take over from him after they worked with him for 8 yrs. He had to bring someone from his Bank and what happened after 3 months? Party scattered, relationship scattered and guy man jumped ship to PDP for appointment. Have you seen Tinubu decamped before?

Yes, Obi children may not attend election rallies but they would have turned up for inauguration if Obi had won. So, forget that, we're not kids.

Just sit back and rethink what you said - the governor that decides the next governor, do you really like him? Is that what the electorate wants? We always called such people by a name and you should know that. Obi did not support anyone to succeed him, yes he blessed obiano because of party obligations but he never supported anyone. See, the electorate has always lost when paddy-paddy people run public office, just think back. In the countries where things are working, how many times do you hear things like: "I'm the one that made him commissioner, I mentored him, bla blah blah.." Have you ever heard that? All the Tinubu commissioners did they do it for free? Where are their names now? Ministerial list? The first failure of most naija leaders is this very thing you are talking about!!!
