Generally, they will have to apply and indicate why they need to stay another 6 months and prove that they have the funds to support their stay in Canada (this will mean proof of finances, employment, or that of the spouse/partner). What about the children? Why are they out of school for 12months?

They can't be supported by Canada as they are temporary visitors so how do they intend to manage this?

That 20kCAD would be better spent on a course that allows your family's legal presence in Canada as the idea of paying for LMIA sponsored jobs smells like a scam and might mean they end up losing that money.

You can check IRCC website for info regarding 'Visitor record'. Its a type of VV extension application. It has its rules and eligibility.

I don't advice people to pay for LMIA because is actually free by Canadian immigration law and this is not an easy task to get as they said it.

Those who are charging figure for LMIA are taking advantage of desperate people that are looking for it, remember when UK COS first introduced people are gotten it freely but later been SOLD for people and using it to come over to UK.

There are some immigration lawyer in Canada that did the same thing for LMIA.

Buying LMIA is a dangerous thing because you can't differentiate the fake and positive LMIA, only if you go through a legit employer that fully sponsor you with a Positive LMIA and job offer.

The person that can afford $20,000cad should go through school route nah

All your School related documents such as LOA, enrollment letter, Student ID card, tuition fees etc and a well details notorized invitation letter.

Note all this is not limited you can add one or two things from your side.

Even the kids will need to submit letter from their school confirming their studentship, and acknowledge their visit to Canada for period of so-so along with thier school fee and report sheet etc.

Within last 3 months ,l was attack on this forum becos some quack expert sharing misleading info about convert from vv to wv and now we see is now is not as easy as people think..this man is better off coming to canada as a student instead to face all this stress as things be now..it either he face refugee claim to cook is story or pay lmia which is risky bevos many scam.but staying illegal after 6 month no worth it in canada ..too risky to live in canada without documentation for the sake of the children he need act fast!!

They allow 6month but if you stay beyond 3 month on a visit Just no rush come back till after minimum 1 year or u go face many many introgration at poe if u rush back after spending more than 3 month on one entry.another guy spend 5 month and 2 week in canada but no lmia but based on agent advice .bought plane ticket to mexico spend 1 week amd return to canada...he dey ondo is hometown now as dey refuse him entry and send back to lagos! Information is vital

Please I need your advise on my pof for visitor visa on the new ircc portal. I have the following options but need to know which is best for my application;

I have my gtb salary account acct that I have been using for years with closing balance of about 1.6m with lots of inflows and outflows.

I have a zenith bank salary account just opened for all staff by my employer 2 months ago. And what I have been doing is to transfer my salary paid into it to my gtb account above once paid.

I also have a mutual fund investment account with Stanbic but have moved all the funds from it to my gtb acct as the interests isn't so encouraging like many years back.

I have the opportunity of getting some funds about #5m from my friend Inviting me to Canada and I'm confused on which of these accounts to recieve the money into and use as my pof. She is a PR with a full time job over there.

I am aware they require at least 6 months bank statements and don't want to be rejected due to lump sum paid recently into my account.

Don't you think that the 5 million naira could be viewed as a lump-sum deposit made in order to apply and obtain a visa?

I believe it would be better for her to keep the cash in her bank account and then give you her bank statement and a letter of support to demonstrate the kind of financial assistance she is prepared to provide you with if your visa application is granted.
