Deltamani:Who would have thought the Super Falcons would rank above the likes of Brazil or Germany before the tournament? No one. I believe that the team would have to learn how to press opponents better in the midfield, and improving their passing accuracy to be genuine medal contenders at the Olympics (if they qualify) |

Now that the "1994 curse" has repeated itself, will the 1996 glory follow? In 1994 FIFA mens World Cup, Nigerian Super Squad lost to Italy in the round of 16s. Anyone who watched that game agrees that but for luck, Nigeria should have progressed to the Finals. Italy who defeated Nigeria, went on into the finals, but lost to eventual winners Brazil . In 1996, Nigeria went on to win the Atlanta 1996 Olympics Gold Medal. At the just concluded FIFA Women's World Cup, Nigeria surprisingly had a team and the best chance to get to the finals. The Super Falcons unluckily lost to England in the rounds of 16. Just like Italy in 1994, England went on into the Finals, but lost to Spain yesterday. The Super Falcons are rightly positioned to win the Olympics next year in Paris with the right support. Will the NFF allow this, or will they sabotage the team? The girls have a game in less than a month and the NFF is yet to decide on a coach. Really hoping they sort this out so we can begin our Olympic qualification in earnest.

Not women football though, but concerning Coaching.. coach Finidi George and his assistant Yemi Olanrewaju were not on the bench in yesterday's 3-4 defeat to Al Ahly Benghazi. As per Fisayo the host club conspired with the CAF officials to prevent them from carrying out their duties , stating that they possess UEFA Badges. What's your thought on this 🤔💭 antics? They said the rule has been there for some time now.. You only sit on the bench with CAF A as Head coach and CAF B as assistant but if you have UEFA you must present it to CAF and write a sub Exam for equivalent. It’s not about Africa, it’s us not reading the rules

geonyte:The rumors about Ashleigh Plumptre is just too much right now, When she was at Leicester City it was Angel City and San Diego from the NWSL and Juventus from Italy that was after her… But currently after the World Cup we have got Manchester United, Arsenal and PSG….as her suitors While Barcelona fans are tagging their Club to come sign her which I don’t see happening as Ashleigh won’t want to share minutes, She’s a starter and a Fulltime player😂😂😂 |

The UEFA Women’s Nations League starts one month from today ✨ We’re in for some exciting fixtures: Scotland v. England Belgium v. Netherlands Ireland v. Northern Ireland Spain v. Sweden🍿🍿🍿 Remembering that the League of Nations will now be the pre-Olympic UEFA Women's. Until 2019 it was for the Women's World Cup (if the regulations were not changed for 2024, the places would be for Spain and Great Britain) With this UEFA Women’s Nations League, I guess the European teams will remain active and continue to top in the World Ranking.. CAF really need to do something like make the qualification games for the WAFCON in a group stage format of like 6 , 7 or 8 teams in each Group of 5 where the top two and a best loser qualify for the WAFCON... with this the teams can get few points for the Ranking..

Paris Saint-Germain would like to extend their greatest support to their defender Paulina Dudek, who has suffered a new rupture of her right knee in training. The entire Club wishes Dudi a good recovery! ❤️💙 I was literally anticipating for her return, one of the best Center Back in the French League if not the Best.. now the Polish Defender is out again😢

Deltamani:With regard to Olympic qualification, England were nominated by the other three British constituent countries to represent GB at the Olympics… So it’s likely that Sarina Wiegman would be the coach of a Team GB in France next year |
