polling officer is an adhoc staff and a ministerial appointment is more like a permanent position for the duration

If you graduate from any University before you clock 30, you must serve. But if you are above 30 before graduation you will be exempted. If you miss NYSC before you clock 30, even if you are 80 years you will come back and do it.

If she was enlisted and mobilized to NYSC in 2001, but later absconded while serving, isshe still eligible in 2023? Has she not aged with passage of time? "This one be like Buhari cows wey no dey increase or decrease" after some years.

I think she should be stripped of her ministerial position not because of legality or not but to serve as deterrent to poeple who are careless. Just 1 year of your life, note you will even be paid for it and yet you will be forming... School na scam, NYSC is useless.

It is in times like these that you will appreciate doing things right. Many of this generational japa crew will face issues like this in the future. All it takes is just 1, one year.
