See people saying Nigerian has no money and the people should suffer. No Nigerian state could have hosted this rubbish but they had to take their jamboree to Rwanda. Shameless failures.

With $11bn, many Nigerian states are richer than Rwanda

It’s a shame that the Nigerian Governor Forum have to go outside of their own country for a retreat. Has any other country come to Nigeria for a retreat? When are we going to patronize our own country, and who will patronize it for us?

The awa lokan mentality is stronger than his patriotism.

The annoying part is that they will be claiming that they are patriots, as if they understand what it means.

Sit tight African leader! I was still in Primary school when Kagame was sworn in as president. Fast forward twenty something years later, he is still there! He is not a good example.

Sit tight and deliver, no problem.

Yea, like Félix Houphouët-Boigny until he died and his country of Ivory Coast unraveled shortly thereafter.

Why are Nigerians not doing japa to North Korea and Cuba where the sit tight presidents are delivering

They could have easily held this retreat in Obudu Cattle Ranch but trust Nigerian politicians, if they don't waste money and resources they don't feel like they are governing

Dubai or Saudi have done better than Nigeria since 1999. Do they have 4 year tenure system?

Kigame has done more for his country than Nigeria. You that have had 20 leaders since primary school, how is your country today?[/quote]

There is a problem. Staying in power for that long deprive the Country of input of other qualified citizens that are perhaps better than him.

Irrespective of the good things he has done, abuse of power is inevitable

Sit tight and deliver is good but always flop when he eventually leave, it works well in monarchy

What a brilliant response to someone who appears incapable of independent thought.

I can understand ignorance on a topic that is difficult to comprehend.

But in this case, videos of Rwanda are plenty on YouTube. Interviews with Rwandans, Drive through videos of Kigali etc.

So what is fueling your ignorance?

Nigerian civil war was well over 50yrs ago yet the hatred shown to one tribe has only increased while Rwanda has long overcome the divisions that led to the genocide 30yrs ago.

HoneySwag:

Rwanda is doing what? Whatsoever that Rwanda president is doing is only a distraction so other nations would keep out of his business of being a lifetime president. Or you don't know he's being the president since year 2000 till date?
It's not every country you compare Nigeria with please. Yes things are not getting better, we know but what about a situation someone has made himself president since 2000 till 2034 and it's not like his country is doing well, Rwanda is one of the most poorest country in the world.
