Is the Brics alliance a diversion from Afta? What is the size of actual trade? Does Nigeria need to be in the body to trade with those nations.

The VP was not the only one on that trip assessing the threat or otherwise that Brics poses yo Nigerias interests. On the delegation were technocrats and possibly the NIA.

In my opinion BRICS is another countries war. Nigeria has nothing at all to gain from joining it. I am convinced Nigeria simply went to assess the alliance. There is nothing in it for Nigeria.
