The world is deep, deeper than you’ll ever realize. The man of God mentioned a specific reason why this person wanted me dead as an innocent child but I will not say it because it is not for the purpose of this write up.

But like every other evil, this reason is borne out of jealousy, envy, greed and sheer wickedness.

I have a good heart, my parents have a good heart. You have a good and so do your parents but can you say that about your neighbor, friends, family, relatives or well wishers? No you can’t, unless proven.

The best form of protection you can give to your children is spiritual protection – through prayers, intercessions, sacrifices and sound admonition.

Due to the knit and communal culture of family in Africa, it may look weird to shut out your children from family.

But they must be protected from both within the family and outside the family.

Again, don’t just let anyone touch your child, especially when they are still babies. Even medical doctors advise against it.

Pray for your kids before they step out of the house and before you receive visitors – whether family or not.

This is not going about suspecting everyone and living in fear, it is about you being a parent, a protector.

Ask God to build a hedge of protection over them, He will. A lot of kids and young people are behaving strangely not because of bad training or as a result of their parents’ sins but because of an evil spell cast upon them by misguided people, either by touch or by word of mouth.

It’s a wicked world; a world where a lot goes on spiritually than it goes physically.

It is a world where every physical event is a manifestation of a concluded spiritual event. Let your children know this.

A lot of people die mysteriously, these include kids, the young and the old. But God saved me out of pure mercy and love. I mean, I was just a harmless baby. I knew next to nothing, I had hurt no one but someone wanted me dead.

Oga maybe you were allergic to some thing in your environment. I know kids that are allergic to baby formula or certain food. It is a shame that most African family due to ignorance or and poverty they could rarely make that connection or keep a tab on such.

I recall correctly that my immediate younger brother used to get sick alot few days after eating or coming in contact with pineapples. No one could figure it out, it took years before I told my parents it was the pineapple. I didn't even know there was a name for it. They observed it and when they noticed out of ignorance they just said yeah he was a spoilt child and will get over it.

Anyways thank God for your life because in some people it could be fatal.

Back to the nitty gritty, have you found out the person who casted a spell on you when you were a baby? If YES, storm the person's house with a squad secretly and do the needful...Don't forget the maxim, "An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth".

It's necessary to do the above act because they caused untold pains to your parents, and especially you...Also, do you know the amount your parents spent for those tests and treatments in the hospitals, to the extent that they became hopeless and resigned you on the bed?

Once again, you're lucky to be among the living and not the underworld.

I don't know why we hastily do that!
Even if I were to explain this same story in line with OP's religion I would relate it to Job who was sick with no cure!

It was not a normal sickness so I do not expect any doctor to see anything wrong. Yet Job didn't blame the village people. He cried onto his creator faithfully.

Finally, as you said, babies do outgrow so many illnesses. And it's normal! No need for any pastor to send my wife to me on this.

Quran says and I quote "oh you who believe among your wifes and children are enemy to you" this is WORD OF GOD. Who knows what he has created.

People don't believe in the truth even if heaven should become apparent they will still deny.

The truth is that destiny is sure and can't be changed or delayed by anyone!
