Fried plantains pair best with beans more than any food, in my opinion.
Especially ripe ones.

I will say pairs well with beans but anyone who's tried fried plantain with èfo rírò&fish would equally testify - that's my favourite combo.

If my fried plantains should soak up anything, it should be spicy fresh tomato sauce (or ewa aganyi), otherwise, leave them as the are.

At least, to make up for all the rogbodiyan wey you don cause for here.

Juicy porridge beans served with carefully fried plantains (dodo) and peppered beef.

For us here in the North, beef is super cheap compared to the south! I normally buy 6 pieces for 300 naira.
