It seems this season in Italy would be very competitive with Napoli losing to Lazio 2-1 and two goals from Lazio disallowed.

The competitiveness really has nothing to do with today's result. My prediction has always been Napoli wouldn't have it great this season. They struggled the last few games of last season. Instead of beefing up the squad like champions Man City did, they instead did this:

1. Hired a coach from Saudi Arabia with no winning track record after Spaletti left.

2. Sold their best defender in Kim Min Jae and didn't find a replacement.

3. A couple of other players like Lozanno and Ndombele left with no proper replacement.

They haven't been convincing since the season began and only felt apart to Lazio who didn't start the season well. With better teams they'll likely have a repeat of what happened today.

Napoli played disorganized, annoying football today. No teamwork. Playing like they don't have a striker. Everybody wan score but end up killing birds with useléss shots. Chances that a simple through-pass would've buried, one mumu go wan dribble everybody and they've got Real Madrid in their Champions League group. This is far different from their style of play in the first half of last season...

Dey re striving so hard to retain a poor performing coach and Dey willingly let a proof coach(randy) leave .what an irony!😀

To be honest, Randy was already on his way out until the team performed well at the world cup... I agree that he deserves to stay..

But this Peseiro really hasn't shown anything to make us believe that he would lead the team go greatness .. NFF should let him go and find better replacement abeg... But this Eguavon and Salisu talk....

1. Rudi Garcia probably has a better winning track record than Spalletti when he signed.
2. When Napoli signed Kim nobody was calling him a top defender.
3. They have Elmas, Raspadori and Politano who can replace Lozano. They also have that Swedish lad to replace Ndombele who was just a back up.

Man City is a oil rich club. Napoli keeping Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia means just as much as any signing City made. Just because they lost one match doesn't mean that they won't compete. U act like Lazio is just anybody. Losing to them is no shame at all.

I'm curious guys. Do players get a share out of their transfer fees. For instance, Osimhen is sold to Man city for £100m, does he get a percentage out of the fee asides his personal deal with the club?

Based on pure undiluted completeness I'll rate our #9 chart in this particular order:

Victor boniface

Taiwo Awoniyi

Osimhen

Gift Orban

Moffi

Chuba Akpom (I see him as a second striker than a out and out #9)

Akor Adams

The for wingers:

Nathan Tella

Ademola Lookman

Chukwueze

Moses Simon

Mazi, well Osimehn has proved himself in eagle’s color and remain a striker to beat.

Awoniyi is growing in confidence and I think he is showing what he can do in big games.

Boniface looked like a player that is assured, not yet tested in eagles but giving the chance then Osimehn must watch it.

Orban just need to move out of Belgium cuz we have seen Onuachu the Belgian league goal king failing but Boniface from the same league is finding it so easy in Bundesliga.

Orban must leave Belgium or else he will find it difficult with top performance from Victor Osimehn,Boniface and Awoniyi week in week out.

Anyway good for Nigeria national team with arrays of CFs we are having….

Wonderful… An Awoniyi that is yet to convince in the colors of Nigeria ahead of Osimhen? Well everyone has his own opinion.

In general a base rate of 10%, however, there are exceptions that will depend on what was written and agreed upon in your contract.

As a result you may get substantially more.

Hmmm for new guys like Boniface and Orban I would like to see them in the SE and an extended period in club football especially in top
leagues to see how truly special they are.

Boniface the few times I've watched him is technically good on the ball and strong. The questions which I had about him which he seems to be answering is if he's prolific in front of goal. It's too soon to say he's better than Osimhen but the potentials are there. Yes in terms of technicality on the ball Boniface's touches look better than Osimhen's however for pace, strength and consistency in front of goal Osibaba is still the don at least for now.

I would be lying if I said any of our wingers has really impressed me especially in the GWG. Really hope one them can step and put the fear of God into our opposition the way Victor Moses used to do.

Everyone has his own criteria for ranking players but I believe it’s too early in the season to start saying who is better. Osimhen has proved himself for both club and country… The others will over the long season prove themselves… Awo included.

Naturally, they are not suppose to get anything. The club owns the asset (player) and then sells it. The person that actually gets a percentage of the transfer fee is the agent.

Now here is where the twist comes and I first noticed it from Kia Joorabchian, Tevez agent. If the agent wants to keep a high profile talent, he negotiates with the player to share transfer fees.

That was why Tevez made a financial killing in the business. Now we have agents even negotiating high agent fees and sometimes get to keep like 5-8% of the transfer fees with a section going to the player.

However, I have not heard of a direct clause of transfer fee going to the player.

I think that's part of the reasons Spalletti left. At the beginning of the season, many of his players like Kim Min-Jae, Kvara and Rrahmani weren't really known to Italian teams and their playing styles came as surprises.

Towards the end of the season, Spalletti and his guys got found out big time and he was struggling to win games.

He knew that if he stayed behind, Italian teams for show am shege this season. Na why Baba quietly Japa with his honour intact.

Now, instead of Laurentiis to sign quality players to beef up the team, he decided to save money and hope for another miracle this season with the same set of players that have been studied and re-studied by Italian teams.

Make we dey watch na.

Am I the only one feeling Tottenham's manager, Ange Postecoglou. He gave Vincent Kompany a masterclass lesson in offensive fast passing. He has been impressive.

Video of some of the team play goals that came from his tactics.

I rate our players based on Super eagles performances, club performance is to get them invitations, reason why I rate Osimehn highly.

Awo,Boniface and Orban did not need any long season to prove themselves, infact they kickstart from where they stopped last season.

Osimehn remained the main man and to displace him that striker will works his socks off.

1. Rudi Garcia is no where the coach Spaletti is. No need arguing, I'll let the stats speak for themselves:

a. They both began their coaching career same year (1994), Spalleti however has a better winning percentage (51.6%) than Garcia (48.38). Spalleti achieved this playing 120 more games.

b. How about honours, Garcia has won just 2 trophies all his managerial career and he got both with Lille during the 2010-2011 season:
Ligue 1 (1)
Coup de France (1)

Spalleti however has these honours to his credit:
Seria A (1)
Copa Italia (2)
Supercoppa Italiana (1)
Russian Premier League (2)
Russian Cup (1)
Russian Super Cup (1)

Seria B promotion (1996)

2. Since 2010, Napoli has mostly declared profit. Of course they are not oil rich like Man City and no one expects them to buy like oil rich clubs, but they are rich enough to make good purchases in the market. The team is lacking defensively and much of what they were able to achieve wasn't primarily due to their attack, but cause they competitors just weren't doing well. They've struggled since the close of last season. Out of 22 games since April, Napoli has lost 4 games and drawn 6 games so there's been significant decline since the later part of last season.

3. Kim Min Jae wasn't unknown. Yes he didn't have the popularity some players had, but he wasn't unknown. I remember Jose Morinho mentioned he wanted to sign him at Tottenham. He was playing with Turkish Giant when Napoli signed him for €19M.

I think the players have already been invited and flight tickets have been sent. Someone said Leverkusen has confirmed boniface's invite although me I did not see anything like that on their twitter page Sha. Since the camp opens tomorrow we should be expecting news of the coach and players any moment from now.
