I like this statement from NURTW. Strike is not the solution but dialogue.

NLC is an ethnic union acting a script from the SE .

There is hardship which will not last longer and NLC wants to worsen it.

I condemn the strike, I condemn it I condemn it. I condemn it.

The strike will never hold as we the patriotic Nigerian youths will chase NLC out of the roads should they match round the roads.

We are waiting

Good one from NURTW.
I don't know why NLC is crying more than the bereaved.
Who is the bereaved here? Nigerian government workers whose minimum wage salary of #30 cannot fuel a car to work for two weeks or NURTW members who are mostly bus conductors and drivers engaged in their private business.

Have ENDSARS Protest end Police Brutality?

Explain how going on Strike will make Nigeria get better.

Will the strike make the Naira stronger?

Will it make our oil production daily increase?

Will it make Inflation fall?

What exactly will it achieve?

Do you know some States like Taraba can not even afford to make 30k the minimum wage?

In my own personal opinion, Labor should keep on engaging the Government and should be monitoring the steps they are taken

Through Asiwaju, God will continue to deal with you.

No room for stupid strike cool

Young man, stop making noise online and focus on your studies....

It's quite clear you don't know what workers are currently going through in the economy that's why you're clamouring for no strike.

This is not a time for displays of stupidity please. The government has removed subsidy and needs to be held accountable for the promised economic reforms it wishes to undertake.

It is a sign of irresponsibility if the government only engages labour when they threaten to go on strike. That's quite unfair if this allegation by labour against the government is true.

NLC will soon shred into pieces.....

Ok, but are you not suffering? Is this present economic situation sweeting you? Are u happy with the palliative collected? Do u think the govt can do better? Are u happy with what has happened to naira? Food prices nko, it's fine with you? Is the essence of strike not to force govt to care/do better?

What will finally finish this country will be politics of tribalism, it makes people blind to their own suffering and problems. More dangerous is the fact that it makes people not to hold leaders accountable simply because na our brother.

I read the statement of the nurtw chairman and I just don't understand. Oga said Nigerians are now struggling to survive and yet nlc should go and sit down because president is from sw. Ok, y are Nigerians struggling to survive now? Isnt it because of subsidy removal plus naira floating all at once
? Govt has saved trillions from this according to them, can't they do better with it to ameliorate the suffering? Can't we at least try and save the naira a bit seeing that we are majorly import dependent?? Isn't all this y people are now struggling to survive and those with means leaving the country in droves? Isn't these y monthly take home Can't take people home anymore? Can't the govt do better to aid their survival??

Politics of tribalism go kill us patapata

Joe Ajaero should realize that he is a short man and so it won't take much effort for the DSS to bundle him up and throw into the back of their van enroute detention if he defies the industrial court standing order restraining the NLC from embarking on strike.

Evil being supporting evil deeds.

U want NLC to socumb to court order but your illegal president cant obey same court order issued to him. He should lead well and others follow suit. He can't flunt and expect others to obey blindly.

He used 8 solid years to understudy the last occupant, only make things far far worse immediately he sat on the exalted stool of power.

You will know if he is doing well or not, if majority of people are beginning to enjoy quality life, economy is boosted, vibrant with zest.

What masses got is significant reduction of purchasing power, diminished disposable income. For gawd sake Nigerians the giant of Africa these days are finding it difficult to afford the basic needs of life being food, clothing and shelter.

The only people who disagree are the politicians in power, their families which are beneficiary, cronies and associates, supporters.

This country don mad! Not surprised though, We know who is actually behind NURTW.

NOTE: NLC is going on strike to protest government's lack of transparency and commitment in the manner the issue of palliative is being handled. You call the below palliative?

We keep shouting it... Roll out buses that run on alternative source of energy if possible which would allow people move their goods and services at a cheaper cost, constant electricity, allow regulated inflow of food especially rice to augment local production. The average man just wants to eat and survive. It's not too much to ask.

Buses that u manufactured and kept in ur warehouse. So u are blind to all the buses rolled out in many states.
