Not really a foul Jare. Evans wasn't really struggling to break free to go block the shot. He was also pulling the guy's cloth.

He had an okay performance. His strength and pace look as good as advertised. I need to see more of his hold up play, intelligence, and finishing before making a judgement.

I have seen enough of him to know he has all that in his locker. the area he will need improvement is finishing but his movement will get him enough opportunities to practice.

Dan Gore is a CM. He didn’t take Sancho’s place. We had only 2 CMs on the bench, namely Mejbri and Gore. Unless you wanted us to have only one midfielder and 3 wingers on the bench.

Garnacho and Pellistri are the ones that took Sancho’s place.

Yeah the team has exposed Onana to several shots but he could do much much better.

During preseason and the last couple of cameos he has had, he has not done bad as a false 9, holding up play and linking with his team. I would start him 100% if the alternative is a Martial

When we spoke about how the team exposed DDG to so much shot that he began to goals he wouldn't concede normally, they said it was because he can't pass. With Varane and Martinez partnership last season, DDG sealed his clean sheets. It was when that partnership ended that we began to concede goals everywhere. But the constant was the midfield and attack. Very poor number of goals scored and chance conversion.

We needed a player like Hannibal for Eriksen in those last 15 minutes. If there is one thing Hannibal can do it is press like mad. He is also a very good ball carrier and a good passer especially in transition. Ability to carry the ball in transition was needed in those final minutes when Arsenal were playing that crazy highline. He would have given 70-80% of Eriksen's passing ability with 200% of the effort. He is also better in the air than Eriksen which would have helped defensively.

I said it last season that ETH's in game management was suspect. Another trap he set for himself is this Antony issue. I don't know why Pellistri is not getting more minutes. He should get a chance in the next couple of games cos Antony needs time on the bench. Pellistri should be given OPPORTUNITIES not AN OPPORTUNITY. Antony has had over 30 opportunities. Pellistri needs at least 5 starts while Antony goes to sort his right foot and running style out.

It was a mistake to have old and slow Maguire and Evans protected by old, slow, and tired Eriksen and Casemiro. Especially in a game against young and fast opponents.

You can't look at those goals and point to the midfield in anyway. The problem was the CBs. You can't play relegation level CBs away at Arsenal in the final 10 minutes and not concede.
