If the Judiciary (led by the charlatan called Attorney General of the federation) can get off their overpaid and lazy butts to review most of the files of those inmates, more than half of them will be reunited with their families and the prisons decongested in no time...!

Let's not speak of the embezzlement of funds meant for the feeding and care of those prisoners every year...!

Will it cost too much to build bigger and more humane penitentiaries??! The answer is NO!

Countries where sane people and leaders live design correctional systems and structures with the key objective of actually reforming those sent there so that upon re-integration into society, even the most hardened criminals might reconsider their ways, not traumatize them especially those sent there for minor crimes.

Every sector of this nation underscores how sadly underdeveloped it has remained since Independence...!

The truth is to stay out of trouble

This is a crime in its self. Nigeria prison service gets yearly allocation, this is what corruption brings. They expect these people to be reformed after serving their time? Well, I don't expect much, after seeing where police office call barracks.

in the orange sun rays

But a bird that stalks
down his narrow cage

Some days ago I told someone on another thread, ‘Nigeria prisons don’t do correctional services’ it will rather kill whatever humanity or conscience you have left. Most former inmates often take to crime.
