Pls how does the closed work permit work? Do I need to get a job offer before applying? Closed work permit required job offer and LMIA which is the most toughest documents to get but there are Closed LMIA-exempt

Also if one gets a job offer ..can you apply for open work permit instead of closed work? A closed work permit is issued to a foreign worker to work in a specific position and for a specific employer that is listed on the LMIA. An open work permit, on the other hand, lets foreign workers work in any position, for any employer, anywhere in Canada.

Lastly, the visa duration for sowp is it tied to one’s spouse’s study permit duration? Yes

Let’s say I have three months to graduation,will my spouse be issued three months visa? Yes

When u get to Canada..go to the borders aandd flagpole..it ll be changed to SOWP immediately since ur wife it schooling there..

U can google flagpoling in Canada to know more about it..

How do I do this? Do I use my profile or my husband needs to create a profile for himself?
If my husband is applying on his own profile, how do I connect his application to mine?
Do I need to show my POF again or his own POF will suffice? And how much will cover his POF for my and 2kids

Since u have a valid VV u can travel with it..
Within a week of landing over there..go to the border as if u wanna go into the US..ur visa into the US wld be rejected and then u ll be given an SOWP visa...

Thars what a family friend did with her 2kids..she had a VV for just 1 week...and it was eventually converted to sowp since her husband schoold in Canada..its very legal..just google it..

Just apply for SOWP directly. In no distant time, your VV will be denied/ cancelled after you put in your SOWP, [b][/b][b][/b]and if your love letter is great, you get your approval.
