Please are you saying it is the joy of those doing prostitution to be doing it? Please clear the ground so that I will know what to say.
Mr. Man, higher percentage of those doing prostitution are doing it because they don't have ends meet. Poverty has ravaged many of them and their family. Go and seat with many of them and you will hear heart breaking stories.
Prostitution is not part of African culture my brother, it is a borrowed profession and not part of us as a people.
But if you believe it is, say amen to this prayer. May your biological girl choose prostitution as a profession. I am not cursing but just reacting to your vituperation that is abusive to African culture.

I was streaming this particular interview live until Airtel decided to be unfortunate so I missed this particular scene.
Nonetheless, the trio of Mr. Oseni, Mrs. Ayo & Dr. Abati watched their studio guest (Mr. Ezike, an experienced & long-standing member of the legal profession) accuse the PEPT judges of what he labeled "computer judgment" (aka AI generated judgment) without batting an eyelid.
It's no problem that AriseTV is a media arm of the PDP with Rufai Oseni an unapologetic Obidients but if they can sit down with a lawyer who questioned the integrity of the PEPT judges without asking the man to retract his words, then they've absolutely no right to ask another man (who's also a lawyer, anyways) to take back his own words.
Both of them are wrong. The APC man, Jesutega has an interest to protect, that is, his party. The other man said, he's not supporting any political party or any candidate. Meaning, the man even has right to vent his anger on the judgement since he has no interest he's protecting while Jesutega has interest to protect.
However, the man should have shown restraint too. Jesutega has no right to take fight with the man since he wasn't abusing him directly but only reacting to judgement delivered. Both can fall to the same trap next time. Why Jesutega is not feeling it, is because his party won at the tribunal, if against his party, he will have one or two issues to raise too. So both are wrong by standard.

I have time for your type today. Since many of you give support to politicians and then suspend your IQ.
Just I had said in my first comment, go to where prostitute congregate and take them one after the other for an interview and your view about prostitute will vanished within minutes. Well, as you're even confusing runs girl with prostitute sums it up that you don't know the difference. We are talking about those that take prostitution has a daily job. I say this with all sense of data that higher percentage of them go into prostitution because life is tiring for them and they needed coping capacity and that made them go into prostitution. This is a case study I have worked on in 2013 with UNICEF. I interfaced with many and their records are still in my archive as one of the participants.
I will advise you to stop confusing runs girl with real prostitution that takes it as profession where their daily bread comes out.
My big grouse with you is you saying is an old time profession. It's never but a new wave into African setting.

You're correct; two wrongs don't make a right.

However, what's sauce for the Goose should also be sauce for the Gander (in this instance, the blame lies squarely at Mr. Rufai Oseni's feet for not moderating the session fairly).

I bet had it been Seun Okinbaloye, he would have reminded Mr. Ezike that they were on live TV therefore should watch his utterances against the Judges. Ditto for Mr. Jesutega.

They said, Abati cautioned Mr. Ezike when he was throwing the abuse on the judges. Taking into consideration that there are three moderators on the show. It was unfortunate that it was Rufai that cautioned Mr. Jesutega. May be he was the one that asked the last question before the heated vituperation.

You are just confusing yourself because you are more inclined to the Anglo than your native language (probably). You even had to bring in the justice system of interest to compound your confusion grin
The fact is, the guest they watched vent his dissatisfaction towards PEPT, doesn't have to be a member of a political party to deny him of his rights to speech(on the subject topic).
No where in the world of an Anglo speaking country will a journalist ask you to take back your words but for direct attack on certain entities outside the topic of discuss.
Note: You can attack the character of a person within the topic of discuss.

For example. A certain foreign journalist once ask OBj to react to the notion He is the grandfather of corruption .. obj was like "huuuh"

Foreign journalist: but certain senators brought money to the floor of assembly
Obj: where did you get that(visibly angry)

You guys need to step out of your coven and watch interviews

When Mr. Ezike was throwing his vituperation against the judges, Mr. Reuben Abati was the one that cautioned him and when Mr. Jesutega was also throwing his jab, Mr. Oseni Rufai cautioned him and asked him to withdraw his vituperation.

Now, let me ask you this question, was the panel set up to malign personality or to discuss the judgement delivered at the PEPT?

Yes, Mr. Ezike go low by degrading the judges, which he was cautioned by one of the three moderators.

In the same way, Mr. Jesutega also went low by attacking the personality of his co-invitee while the invitee wasn't directing abuse to him.

The real issue now, if the judgement of PEPT had gone against Mr. Jesutega's party, would he had done same or support the bile of Mr. Ezike?
Your churchmind answer will be needed here.

Thankfully, we've watched interviews how party men and women, lawyers throw caution to the wind in many instances and not only in this.

Now, the above will sum up who and who is confusing himself or trying to show bias for political gain.

I stopped being a fan of Tinubu during the endsars saga(real reason). But looking at the administrative achievements of the 3 persons involved, Tinubu is still the best. Sorry to say this, Ibos are only fully behind Peter Obi because he is their son. While same applies to Tinubu but to extent, there are still many young Yorubas that dont want Tinubu based on perceived health issues, endsars saga, preference for Osinbajo and switching supports to Obi when Osinbajo didn't win primaries.

Rufai Oseni is just full of himself. He's so bias as a journalist that he never hide it. This guy will soon meet his waterloo. How could he tell a lawyer that knows the law to take back a statement that depicted facts. It shows the kind of image of bias, classlessness and gutter journalism that Arise TV practice. Oseni is a disgrace to that profession

The APC man only playing to the gallery , even though, the second man, went too far. If they insult judges, it's not the work of APC man to defend them, (not even when Abati has cautioned him), to the extent of attacking personality of the man that insulted judges on TV . Afterall, several judgements in Nigeria are enough for people to call out judges.

Though, several APC members already angry with Rufai, the way he has turned himself to Obidients spokeman.

I will advise Rufai not only learn how to be neutral anchor man, but also how to control his temperament when interviewing visitors that your own Television station where you work invited.

Still surprising that people compare Seun with Rufai .
exactly seun is very neutral and you'll see how politicians interact with seun is very different... Seun fit call for interview anywhere with any politician and they'll respect him... Unlike dis guy.... D judgement yesterday was straightforward... Very straightforward, the judges gave them examples and how they would have approached the case differently

It appears the Arise TV management is not feeling embarrassed with the conduct of Rufai whenever a guest that has different political view is being interviewed. Isn't it absurd that a media house that have the likes of Dr Ruben Abati,Eniola Bello, Segun Adeniyi etc, didn't see the training gap been openly exhibited by Rufai? Are they enjoying the unprofessional conducts? Should the government in power starts persecuting the station covertly how will they feel? Yes we are in a democracy that guarantees freedom of expression, and we are enjoying it but please don't play to the gallery, this people in power may not be as tolerant as we expect, should we then be deprived of some of the wonderful programme of Arise group because of the indiscretion of a journalist? I think it time for Arise to give Rufai another role.
One thing I discovered in some of you is, you people detest truth and some how alien in the ear of you people.
When Mr. ezike spoke against the judges, it was Mr. Reuben Abati that quickly cautioned him and reminded him he was going beyond the bounds. The op didn't add that to his news because he knew whether good or bad if it is related to Mr. Oseni Rufai people will always have what to say, just as you've taken swipe at him now.
The question now is, was it out of place for Mr. Oseni Rufai to have cautioned Mr. Jesutega for going personal on his co-invitee when Mr. Ezike wasn't directing his denigration to him.
Remember the panel was to discuss the judgement delivered by PEPT yesterday. A normal human being would know that those not satisfied with the judgement would want to pick some holes and lashes out on the judges while those satisfied with the judgement of the PEPT will see no reason to condemn any, because they are satisfied and it goes along with what they wanted.
Overall, what I see is that Mr. Ezike go low and should not have directly attacked the judges on live TV while Mr. Jesutega go personal and took caution to the wind, forgetting that he is an interested party in the judgement and should not have taken it personal.
Hence, both were wrong because two wrongs doesn't make a right.
Meanwhile, both Mr. Reuben Abati and Mr. Oseni Rufai only did their job by cautioning both of them, so that they would know that they have gone outside discussion and have turned the game to personal fight.
