Sending the police to arrest someone because they defamed you is a form of intimidation and harassment.

The Nigerian Police has today paraded Chike Ibezim for cyberstalking and defamatory statements against a former Works Minister, Babatunde Fashola.

The Police said the defamatory statements against the former Lagos State Governor, sent through the X platform (formerly twitter), was traced to the phone number of the younger Ibezim.

Fashola had sued Reportera and two others for alleging he was writing judgement on behalf of the Judges at the PEPT.

Reportera is owned by Chike's brother, Nnamdi.

Inec law say make u get polling agent in all polling units and dem make provision of result sheet for polling agents after stamp and sign by INEC adhoc staff. Did obi mention those polling units inec didn't conduct election to prove his allegations.

Not sure if our authorities have that to hand yet but in advanced countries, they can tell you the telephone mast that you were nearest to when you posted the tweet.

They can then, easily actually, tell you in what direction your phone was moving after or before you tweeted based on the phone pinging other telephone masts along the way.

Incredibly, they can also at the click of a button, find out which other telephones were moving in the same direction as you.

You will then have to prove you did not send the tweet because you were not in the area your phone was, your friends and family that were moving with you too would have to prove you were not together.
