Some inverter fan come on based on temp, unfortunately some come on based on load. So nothing wrong with yours. I guess you're using An axpert inverter. I have same "problem" too
Obviously nothing is wrong.
Just wondering why a 10w phone charging will run the fan of such inverter.

Currently I pay MTN ₦120,000 for 6 months for 50Mbps and this is a good offer and very stable.

.

What plan/service this this?

You might want to put up some restrictions on your network.

In my office I used Mikrotik RB1100AHx4 to secure my Network. Using Layer7 Regexp and firewall to block so many things like Windows and Office Updates so they get it from the File Server, Blocking downloads by size and file types, Blocking bittorrents, Blocking Social Media and Streaming services (for some users), etc.
Used Adguard DNS for block explicit contents (porn), adverts, malwares, etc.
Used ARP=reply-only on your Local Network Interface to make sure that VPN and manual IP or DNS users can't use your network, except they use the IP and DNS that your Gateway allocates to them via DHCP, any attempt to alter or use a manual IP or VPN knocks them out of your Network, etc.
You can always have a list of IPs that are exempted from these restrictions though.

The pictures below can guide you further.

Your inputs have been invaluable.

Thank you!

Hi Guys!

We are building a community around our 3000w EASun pure sine wave inverter because we believe it is providing good value for money for customers (a conventional inverter with same power and performance will cost at least thrice the price of ours!). So, we have created this thread to keep track of reviews, feedbacks and discussions around it:

https://www.nairaland.com/7833852/3000w-easun-pure-sine-wave#125672218

Price is 66,000. But to further encourage these reviews and feedbacks, we will give you a refund of 1,500 when you provide a sincere review, backed by pictures or videos, after purchase

The inverter consumes less than 5watts from your battery, and can power an inductive electric cooker, 0.5hp water pumping machine, pressing iron, micro-wave, blender, toasting machine, washing machine, etc

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7YgbL4Lw_Bw

If a buyer gives a review of a bigger inverter, does that 1500 increase? grin

Especially that LG, Getting original LG tv is like looking for gold among stones. My mum bought fake, i got fake for my parent in law. I was able to get original. The difference between original and fake is like night and day in picture/video quality.
Anything LG, just go to Foani or any of there accredited sellers, that's the only 100% guarantee of getting original, anything apart from this, you might joyfully be hugging a fake home.

After my sordid experience with Alaba boys for TV matter, I just went to Fouani showroom at ikeja, carry my 55incher with 2yrs warranty go house....the bad boy is still working well, although I rarely watch it sef. We never on the thing for almost a month now.

It's unlimited, no FUP at all.
See attached picture for how much data I have consumed in just 2 weeks (From the last time I rebooted my
Unifi Dream Machine Pro Gateway).

I have been on this service for more than 3 years.

1.1TB within 2weeks?. Damn. That's unlimited and far better than starlink. Have been using Airtel ODU for the past 2 months and it's good but isnt unlimited. I hope our telecoms will transit from data cap to speed cap subscriptions with unlimited data usage like this MTN fibre

This is fibre, you can't compare to satellite or cable network. Fibre is the mainstay and future of communication. Communicating at the speed of light. It has better latency. I will always pick 25mbps fibre anytime, anyday over 150mbps satellite or cable link.

Any one can corroborate his claims please?

Fiber has coverage issues. Not every one have access to FTTH. Latency is not bad on Starlink.

It's OK....good speed isn't everything. Developed countries that are well connected use fibre to home. It supports large bandwidth transmission . And the best advantage is its latency. Nigeria is connected to the rest of the world through optic fibre.

The coverage will improve with time. Big telecoms only have there FTTH in selected locations in Nigeria. If you are in those coverage areas, its no gainsaying to subscribe to them especially if you are a heavy data consumer

It will be very limited , it the 70's , ITT laid so much telecom cables around Nigeria , As I was born and grew up , in the 80's and 90's we started seeing erosion exposing most of those cables .

If you check MTN and other companies only lay fibre in developed areas in towns which is very minimal. Nigeria is not making any effort to develop, all what we see is people cutting lands and selling indiscriminately without any planning for roads , water , sewage or telecom cables to feed those lands .
So my conclusion except we get a visionary government , fibre will just be limited. MTN should try and offer Air fibre which is wireless

Has anyone used afripower 1kva inverter and how will you rate it.

If positive do you know their office in Lagos?

he is wrong wrongest.

flooded batteries still emit gases, however because the average installer in clueless and inept, they usually don't program the inverter properly, so the inverter ends up sending suboptimal voltages to the battery.
flooded battery usually requires 14.5v to 14.8v for proper charging and 15.5v every 4hrs monthly. the battery will usually release gases/fumes during this equalization cos of the higher voltages sent to the battery. most un programmed inverters send only about 13.8v to 14.3v , this voltage is too low to produce any serious fumes/gases, and they also don't equalize----with this you see some flooded battery users saying they only top up water once a year , very very wrong, and such practise is irreversibly damaging the battery

The problem with equalizing is that, that particular mode isn't on most inverters so you have to be calling technician to come equalize battery for you. My inverter usage isn't so intense and I added water only after 7 months of installation.

My batteries do produce correct fumes sha which I only notice because of the weird smell in the room where they are setup. The smell is intense during harmattan period as I tend to close the windows because of dust

Why wud you call installer to equalize for you, when you have at least 1 functioning hand and 1 head? shocked shocked.

2ndly the average nigerian inspite of several warnings still fails to educate himself on the workings of inverter/charge controller...heck on the workings of anything...but choose to rely on someone else to think/do for him----that is the bane of the issues we are having in this country!. automated equalized/desulphation is the best. people shud ensure they buy inverters and ccs with this function....and ensure its programmmed apprioprately.

note: kazeem doesnt know nor care to programme this. so the onus is on you to ensure you buy a device with such function. 2. to ensure its programmed accordingly
