Lawyers, more than anyone else, must exercise restraint at all times in any interaction with other members of society.

Calling people names in public discourse is very unbecoming of a lawyer.

Same thing on Nairaland. The unnecessary invectives and abuse is a turn off.

We need to return to a civilised way of talking to one another.

I didn't go down through.

It was just a WhatsApp group chat. Admin can still add him back.

But, it should be a group of like-minds and there should not be any room for favouritism, sympathizing and not sitting on the fence as it's should have been.

This is a core reason another Nigeria Legal Practitioners association was about coming up then, and it will still come up.

When I lost faith on anything Lawyers and associates was when a national issue that is capable of causing disintegrating, agony, anarchy, hatred, political, regional, religious and ethnic bias was put on the Table, these men were busy SLEEPING.

Liegeria and Liegerians have a penchant for authoritarian tendencies. The question is whether the attorney who was allegedly removed for speaking up is right or wrong in his statement. Is Mr. Oluomo NOT a thug? Of course, he's a thug of the highest caliber. So, why would a body that's supposedly an advocate for FREEDOM of SPEECH be the one stifling free speech?
