What disgusts me about these women is that when they're single, they'll claim to love kids, you'll see them in church struggling to babysit. Calling kids all kinds of sweet names.

But once they marry, they'll start seeing every child as a competition to theirs. Men should start speaking up, cos I don't know why a man would feel comfortable sleeping under the same roof with a monster who maltreats kids.

I certainly cannot tolerate such woman.

it's not only house help oh, even Nephews and Nieces are not saved from their wickedness, I was posted to Akwa ibom state for my Nysc this year , since I already have an uncle that lives there, na so I happily moved in to stay with him, at least to save some money from the little 33k allowance that they usually pay corpers, but as days go by, na so my uncle's wife begin change her attitude towards me, maybe because I'm the husband's relative , I had to jejely rent house and leave her house for her, na their house boy I come dey pity because me I saw shege there .

That rightly so, maltreating an house help is not one of those things a real man should not act on. Caution the woman, if it continues send the house help away and let her do her things by herself. You help when you are able to.

Has nothing to do with third parties ruining homes. Hosehelps are simply too expensive in developed climes. And if you get a minor, you'll go to jail!

Madam, if you are not ready to buy something for your househelp when you take her out with your own kids, please leave her at home. She is someone's child too.

She came in with her husband, 2 kids and their help, another kid of about 11 or 12 years. Immediately they sat down, the husband left probably to come and pick them up later. She ordered three turkey, a Hollandia yoghurt for the kids and Star radler.

When it was served, she gave one turkey to her son of about 6years, one to the daughter of say 3-4yrs and the other one for herself. While they were feasting on the turkey and drinks, the house help sat on another table starring hungrily and helplessly. Every time the madam turns towards her, the house help will quickly look away to avoid eye contact with madam.

That lady even ate the little piece left by her daughter, paid the bills and left..

I know that she might not be the only person guilty of this despicable act, so let's have your comments and opinions on the matter so others like her will learn and probably change....

cause to me I feel her action might put the children at great risk of maltreatment and possible harm by the househelp.

Why do men (husbands) stand by and watch their wives maltreat helps, without intervening, stopping their wives and putting an end to the maltreatment?

What I find most annoying is how you men who are supposedly the head of the family/household, allow these things to happen and repeatedly occur in your homes. While saying nonsense like madam will accuse me of taking sides with the help or accuse me of sleeping with her. So ure saying ur brain is so dead that u can't differentiate right from wrong except a man tells u? Ure indeed a big slowpoke.

Where does all that logical, alpha male energy you like flexing, suddenly goes to, in the face of cruel treatment of helps? Is the logical thing to do not to caution your wives and end the maltreatment? You people will not do it but will continue to shout we are logical.

Some of you married folks will sha not make heaven because of this issue, both of you, as in, husbands and wives, who do this.

Women are territorial beings, when they are getting the house help, it was desperate time, now that the hose help is here, their territorial instinct kicks in and before you know it, they are hating the house help, wanting the house help and getting frustrated in the process. In this regard, men can help, when getting house helps, go for the "come and go and night arrangement"
