How Police Will Probe Mohbad’s Death – FPRO by peekspot(m): 6:56am On Sep 19, 2023

The Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has disclosed that the Nigeria Police Force will interrogate as many as possible to unravel the circumstances behind the death of the late Nigerian artiste, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

PUNCH Online reported that the 27-year-old singer, who was a former signee of Naira Marley at Marlian Records, died last Tuesday.

The Force PRO shared early Tuesday morning via his handle on X (formerly Twitter), @Princemoye1.

He tweeted, “Mohbad: Let’s open our minds and widen the scope of investigation to unravel the case.

“Many would, by now, agree with me or concur with my assertion that we need a thorough investigation to expose some hidden facts.

“We will torchlight many areas and interrogate as many as possible to get to the root of the matter and have justice done.”

He cautioned that investigations need to be flexible and multi-faceted, rather than being based on a “stereotyped methodology.”

“In investigation, you don’t have a mindset or stereotyped methodology, but be flexible, open-minded, and adopt multi-faceted approaches for a good result.

“The investigation is ongoing. let’s wait and see how it goes,” he assured.

Earlier, spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, had, on Monday, September 18, said that the command has set up a special investigative team with the mandate to probe the death of Mohbad.

Hundeyin said the team is expected to submit an interim report within two weeks.

He added that the 13-man investigative team will carry out a discreet investigation which covers exhumation, Autopsy/toxicology/histology, scene visit, Hospital/Medical Report, Records of suspects/witnesses statements.

Am beginning to believe that nairalander that said Tinubu's henchmen are deliberately over flogging this mohbad's issue just to distract the masses from the grim reality that is confronting the country because what is this na? You know how many people have died since last Tuesday that mohbad died? Am tired of this matter

Good day we'll meaning nairalanders. I created this thread solely to solicit for advise from travel expertsand residents in Europe in general.

I've got a sister (diploma nurse) with 2+ years of practice experience who is finding it hard to emigrate to UK due to the current restrictions which she called "red listing". With her IELTS score and CBT expiring in few months time, her anxiety is mounting by the day. Now that ther seem to br no hope in UK , I've decided to as knowledgeable person's on this forum. what are the feasible destination for nurses in Europe? Preferable English speaking.

Main issue is she using the two results mentioned above so it doesn't expire.

Ps: By her research,Canada, Australia and US are more fund and time intensive. It's not an option as she can't finance the pursuit.

I'm not a fan of Mohbad but justice needs to follow its real course and culprits unveil.How could a public figure of his status submit a petition on threat to his life and police would keep silent?Who were the people with him when he was in excruciating pain and his life pining away?What was the nature of his ailment?Was he pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital?If he was not,what was he diagnosed of?Why was he hurriedly forced into an unbenefiting and undersized coffin and buried in such an unceremonious manner considering his status and being of a Christian faith?There're many questions begging for answers and many things more than meet the eyes.

What is your definition of justice? When the outcome of the investigation aligns with your thoughts and views?

Funny enough, what killed him may probably not be related to his music career. It could be a business deal gone bad, it could be natural, it could his bestie, a relative, an acquaintance, it could be just about anything.

Lets be open minded please.
